For everyone asking about the sheets:
1. First one is a protective sheet. Lots of people sleep on these mattresses, never know what's left behind on them. It also helps protect the mattress incase you spill.
2. Second is a sheet cover. The protective sheet is normally scratchy and icky after a while. The sheet cover is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to sleep on.
3. The last one is just a normal sheet to sleep under

D Y there’s tons of reasons I think, 1. Someone before her has used that mattress so putting layers can prevent bed bugs from getting to you, 2. When you buy a blanket set they usually come with two or three sheets, 3. She has a mattress topper so using at least two can help it from not moving around, 4. I only have two sheets but she has 3 it could just be preference.
Mo yea but ive seen these in room makeoverd aswell, they always put all these layers. Even when we have topper one fitted sheet is enough to stay in place.

@@ssgg2361 that's not true maybe in some cases but not entirely true. Just because I graduated from top school it doesn't guarantee me a top paying job or a job. Employers Nowadays want experience not the college you went to. You may look good on the resume but if you have terrible interview skills or no experience don't set your expectations bar high.

Yellow Duds Community College is a really good choice for financial reasons!! You can go there for the first two years and handle most of your gen eds and then transfer to a college for the last two years if you want :) :)

Theres are different POV's for other people. Just cause she tells you one perspective, it doesn't mean you will have the same experience. You have to go there for yourself to see. If you're scared that it won't be what you expect it to be, then this school isn't for you. Everyone wants to go to Harvard.

When you say the care of packaging is compostable and you can just “throw them away and they go back into the earth” that’s really misleading... they have to actually be composted. Compostable items improperly disposed of produce methane one in landfills which has 3X the carbon of CO2. Furthermore, Most compostable packaging cannot go into your personal or community compost pile and actually has to be commercially composted... it’s useless in many cases. Care of packing can be composted in a small scale compost pile according to their website.

I feel so happy for people who get into their dream colleges. Like, I can't wait to get into one soon.Just wouldn't be the one I dream of, but one I can easily (not saying its not easy) get into. I love these type of vlogs. Really motivational.
Everyone saying “daddy’s money” “ must be nice to be rich”. Don’t realize the scores you have to have to actually get into this school. You need a 4.18 GPA. You'll need nearly straight A's in all your classes to compete with other applicants. And 73% of their students come from a household who’s income is $75,000 or less. Do your research before you put a label on people.
That is not true at all, a good portion of their students come from high socioeconomic backgrounds. 67% come form the top 20 percentile income households, 53% come from the top 10%, 39% from the the top 5% and 15% from the 1% - the average median family income is $168,000. A very small percentage of their students are from poor households. Also while you do need really good grades to get into school, far too many people can buy their way in, as shown by the college bribe scandal.
Lauren Rothman your reading those numbers wrong honey. The numbers they show you are how much low/medium/high income pay AFTER financial aid. If you look at race and international, they have more diversity than any other college.Their application process is entirely need-blind, which means that applying for financial aid will have no impact on your admissions decision. The fact is, you can’t get into this school without being smart no matter how much money you have. You need a 4.0 and high ass gpa and sat score. Money doesn’t buy you brains.
@@samanthawinters1066What you said has nothing to do with the social class demographics of Harvard or any ivy league school for that matter, I went to Princeton and a vastly large portion of students come from somewhat of a privileged background. Those schools couldn't stay a float if they gave everyone a full ride scholarship,full rides and massive tuition reduction are for those that came from a servery undeserved background yet succeeded despite the odds, only .1% of Harvard students come from the bottom 20 percent of incomes. Also a lot of people come from households that make six figures, the international students from Asia, Middle East and Africa are also the children of the extremely privledged, oil barrons, tech execs, entreprenures, billionaires, etc. You sound extremely naive saying money doesn't buy brains, it doesn't make you smarter but money will buy you better SAT/ACT prep, tutors, essay writers.

I've been watching a lot of these college videos this year (even though I graduate in like 5 years) , and honestly it's just making me less and more excited to go to college at the same time. Like, i really wanna experience the moving out and in process, have dorms, or be in a sorority, live by myself, drive myself wherever i want, but in the same time, i grew up with all my teachers, friends, and staff at the school, and just thinking that one day i'll just leave them behind and probably never see them again is making my eyes water a little ngl..

If you put her bed under the window (parallel), you could use that separate "room" as your common hangout room with a small couch or futon, TV, etc!

Sweden reporting, we only use one sheet too... also college housing seems fun and all but I am so thankful that swedish student housing is either shared kitchens or you got an apartment all on your own 😅
Mattress topper because dorm mattresses are extremely uncomfortable, waterproof cover on top of that so Incase you spill something it doesn’t go through and soak the mattress/topper (also extra protection bc the same mattresses are slept on each year and you don’t know who had it before you lol), then fitted sheet to sleep on that covers the waterproof cover, another sheet to sleep under, and a heavy duty duvet or comforter for when it gets cold lol
I'm from Slovenia and we also use only 1 sheet
hugging with friends-go out without masks and not to be worried about a virus . i really miss that times tho
