- An alternative to more expensive Market Dip Bars with a custom touch and also that good feeling that comes from building something yourself!
Materials needed:
-(10) T Joints
-(4) 90* Elbows
-(2) Couplers
-(4) End Caps
-(3) 10' x 1 1/2" dia. PVC pipes
Cut down to:
-(4) 30"
-(2) 20 1/2"
-(1) 18"
-(2) 12 1/2"
-(4) 12"
-(4) 9"
-(6) 6"
Tools Needed:
-PVC Glue/Cement
-Tape Measure
-Pencil/Pen
-Hacksaw or PVC cutter
-Rubber Malet (optional)
-Square (optional)
TOTAL COST ABOUT $60
***UPDATE-- shortly after making this video I added two holes through the end of the cross bar and T joints and added removable pins to help keep the pipe together better, more stable!

Cool. I like your version. I made something very similar 10-11 years ago. It's still in perfect shape and am still training with it. I made a video about it back then on my channel.
Can you adjust it to make it higher if need be for certain excercises? I'm a tall man. Also, it might be preferable to dip deeper.

+shawn n i weight in at roughly 200lbs and don't have a problem.
I'm interested to follow this. So stable and durable but I don't know if I can train australian pullups/inclined pullups there.
You just have to do them opposite of what we do in the Northern Hemisphere. lol.

Love the design... but the amount of money you spent building it and the time you spent is just too much you could have easily spent the same amount of money just buying one from amazon...
