You mention the lid ‘fit’ is an issue because it’s not tight. I believe this is a positive because you won’t spill the contents trying to ‘prise the lid off to check the cooking.
This is true, when I talk about kid fit though what I mean is the lid will slip into your food if the pot is even slightly bumped. Now since this video toaks has started to fix this issue by using a slightly larger rim on their lids.
Great review man,I bought the same pot it is a great pot ,I modified my lid by flattening the the rim edge on mine with a flathead screwdriver and hammer fits much better now ,the triangle pull doesn't fit in the triangle well so I took the pull out sawed 1 to 2 millimeters of the triangle just so it was flush,worked well.

I bought the 2000ml because it's not too big. A small saucepan on your regular home stove is 2.5 qt. It's only big inside your head. And it's more than six spoonfuls of rice in those glorified cups. Yes, it costs $75, but considering people pay $35 and up for a "cup", it isn't crazy.

The tops are loose so they don’t get stuck on while cooking on a small stove and cause burns and spills

If you use this pot with the bail handle and use over a ‘fire’ does the insulation on the regular handles melt?

Says it's 5.1 oz. The thing I don't get is why they would bother to insulate the handles when it's meant to be hung over a fire.
Thinking the same thing, but it would be super-easy to just strip it off.
In the newer versions of this pot, they leave the handles uncoated so that it's campfire friendly.
Can the handles of toaks take a beating or rough handling? or are they squishy?
So far they are working well and I'm not exactly ultra careful with them. Now I wouldn't hit them with a hammer but they will stand up to normal ware and tare.
The one thing I can say is they are NOT squishy. They feel very solid in your hand.
the only reason i would go with this "pot-1100ml" is; it can fit a 230g gas cylinder inside the pot; so i can use the pot with gas and a camp fire ....
It's 2020... has Toaks fixed the lid problem yet? Also, does the Toaks 750 ml pot (w/ bail handle) fit inside the 1100?
I bought my Toaks 1100 less than a year ago and the lid fits perfectly. Toaks also discontinued coating the handles with rubber so that it's more campfire friendly now. Cool little pot that nests with my Klean Kanteen 64oz stainless water bottle.

Yes it will. I have a Klean Kanteen 64oz and a Toaks 1100 and the Klean Kanteen fits into the Toaks 1100 with room to spare. I also picked up a Pathfinder 64oz Bottle bag and am able to nest everything inside for a really sweet setup.

Actually the 750 nests inside the 1100, but the lid of the 1100 does not sit tight. But with the stuff sack, it will go along just fine. Other option is to put the lid of the 1100 to the bottom of its sack.
@@someroskilde thanks for the reply..yes it oes fit using the sack..I found a new kit combo also but not as light but great for my work brew kit the stanley cook cup without the plastic cups nests inside the 750 and it's lid fits the 750 a lot better than it's own. Try it its not a compression fit but it doesn't teeter at all and it has straining holes . keep those videos coming

Your gear looks unused
I keep my equipment clean, I also use alcohol stoves and cook over coals. The underside does show discoloration but not the normal black stain you would normally see.
If you care for your equipment it will be there for a lifetime. So I care for mine.
Amazingly is thorough as you seem to be there is a category that you left out and that is sustainability what gear is recommended for sustainability for example I carry a couple conibear steel traps as well and other gear what are the things that keep is a pellet rifle break barrel I'm able to take small game up to knee high with a heavier pellet of 177 caliber up to 30 yards with no problem if you have a good air rifle and remember I'm come out springers as well a slingbow that can we use for hunting larger game with arrows using 50 foot-pound band and irretrievable fishing Arrow with a real as well as the slingshots capability for shooting small game or other ammo you also need to look into frog gigs and many many other things it's a real let down your Channel

+ZimCo Survival what I got from that is "you don't review sustainability gear" remember this is a small channel and almost all of the gear i review is purchased by me. I also have a budget that i cant go over if i want to pay my bills. Now with that said 2 problems I can see with your equipment.
#1 canibear traps are 2 heavy to justify being useful. Instead by a role of .45 stainless beeding wire and learn how to make a snare trigger.
#2 slingbows a great in theory however the band us it's week point. Being made from rubber subjects it to dry rot. Over time it will crack and break simply from sum exposure. Not exactly long term viability.
#3 fishing arrows are for fishing. The drag caused by the line will drastically slow the arrow down and potentially snag on bushes, branches and trees. Arrows when hunting on land require speed and impact force. It's a carefully though out equation that all bow hunters have to figure out. To heavy and the arrow will move to slow giving the pray time to move. To fast and the arrow won't have the impact to kill them quickly which leads to an inhumane death and a long track time.
Arrows and arrow heads are measured in grains for a reason. Perhaps you should spend a little more time and think "is it actually practicle" instead of "this is cool"
