    Gonna reseal my gf's darts pan here soon next oil change, light seepage coming from it. Thanks for the vid, think I'll toss a dorman pan in the cart too, not too bad 38 bucks. Seeing how stuck on it is I think removing the old pan frustration will get to me and I'll just mangle it into an origami project.

      That is a great idea , replacing the pan. No extra work cleaning the old one or hassling with any damage. Thank you for the feedback.

    What kind of rtv did you use or will just any rtv do. I am about to do the same job whenever the pan gets here hopefully by then end of the week. I had to research videos on how to replace the pan I have the 2.0 tigershark engine in my dart and I hit a couple of taller man holes from a gas station and it has only been a week since I changed my oil I am a bit ticked off about because I ordered Amsoil for it and now I gotta do a complete oil and filter change because of the damn man hole cover not to mention the pan was dented up when I got the car almost a year ago. Slowly but surely I am fixing stuff from whoever the previous owner ignored.

      Any of the black rtv or the gray works great. Ultra black is the best but only con is it is a bear to remove if need be in the future. Sounds like a great car you have , hope the video can help you out. Thanks for the feedback.

      @@s33therfan I like my Dart nothing to fancy just the Sxt it would be nice if it had the 2.4 motor in it but either way it’s peppy and my money maker until I get a normal job again lol. I ended up buying the black mopar brand from the dealer bit expensive 19$ did buy a grey permatex but was the wrong type and I had to do some research and I figured you know what I probably should buy from mopar dealer. Friday if the weather permits it and my pan gets here I’ll get too it I am gonna let it sit for a few extra days to be 💯 ready because it’s cold outside and not sure what it will be like on Friday.

    Do you have to take the entire front end apart or can you just remove the oil pan

    What all did you have to take off to get the that oil pan? Can we just put it on a lift and do what u did or is there a lot of stuff to do to get to it?

    was that the same dart that you replaced the engine , before or after ?

      Yes , same car. I'm on engine number 2 . The first one ran great but failed the block test. I was having a lot of fluctuations with the heat gauge is what led me to discover it. Luckily this does not happen a lot. Thanks as always for watching.

    Does the whole A/C compressor have to be removed to access that one 12mm or can you just take the bolt and bracket off by themselves?
    Also, I really appreciate your videos. I have had to do quite a bit of work on my dart on my own and you helped me out a lot!

      You can definitely take the bracket off without removing the ac compressor. It might be a little tight but should work. Thank you very much for the feedback.

    Good afternoon tell me dear. I have a little argument with my friends. At the traffic light, is it worth it to transfer the reach to neutral to the automatic box or not? What's better.

      I think it is debatable for sure. I have heard that it saves gas and also heard it cause unecessary wear to the transmission. In my opinion it isn't worth the risk and just keep it in drive. However I'm curious as to what others think and maybe some others can chime in. Great question and thanks for the feedback.

    Question have any dodge dart sxt owners have had any issues with an open circuit on heated oxygen sensor bank1 sensor 1...

      @s33therfan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can check the voltage on the connector , but most of the time the sensor itself is at fault.
