That's amazing to hear! I wish you all the best with your Blender Journey. My Instagram is linked in the description of the video, so if you have any questions, feel free to send me a message.
For the planet/clouds, I used this great tutorial and file from another TH-camr called Samuel Krug. He does awesome space stuff. Here is the link to the specific video I used: th-cam.com/video/MNt0s7zgMFI/w-d-xo.html. He has the blend file linked in the description too. However, for the next part of the short, I am using a HDRI image for the planet/background. I find it works way better.
I used this tutorial to make the base th-cam.com/video/WZ1ghoVPdEg/w-d-xo.html, then played around with the values to get a more solid look, then I did some compositing in Davinci Resolve to add glow, streaks and lens flare.
I used Davinci resolve to put together the sound effects and edit them. I don't know a lot about sound design, so it's basically just downloaded sound effects that I put together with a few basic edits.
Very nice work! Your cinematography skills show very well. My only humble constructive thought is to move away (at least a little) from the "bammm bammm" and violin strings gone sour musical motives and see if there is something more original fitting your overall storytelling vision/message. While they seem totally appropriate here, maybe you could really break through with different compositions juxtaposed against that story. Just a tiny opinion from a huge fan of this waiting to see what you do next. THANK YOU for all your effort on this "small project" :)
Thanks for the support!! It's really appreciated, and I'm glad you like my content. I will definitely take that into consideration for the next part. I am a filmmaker/vfx artist, so I don't know a lot about music/sound design compared to other areas. But I will take your feedback on board for my future work. Thanks again!

Can I ask? what software did you use for the sound effects?
