It is so cool that they’ve put so much work into these highlights.
wish they would put so much work into the stages. with these barricades and curve at the finish of the first big mass sprint it looks very bad.
Agree! Great highlights. They feel like the same style from the tour's netflix series.
There is surely effort but it feels too americanized, as much anything else about sports highlights also is, these days.
Man, I'm so glad they released the Netflix documentary, otherwise I would never have known how interesting this sport is! And these highlights are amazing 10/10
More or less flat stages are decent but wait til the mountains especially the Alpes it gets very exciting and impressive
truee and I don't know if this the effect of the netflix docuseries or not but they upgraded the highlight even some team upped their vlog games for sure
I'm gonna have to watch that then.
True! From F1 i think im slowly switching to this. So impressive!! And not much credit was given for TDF / cycling in general especially with how tiresome this is. 21 stages this year jesus christ
I've complained in the past about the short duration and poor level of coverage of each stage. Maybe you listened maybe not, but the level of coverage has gone up in every way. Editing, duration everything is 100% better. They way you cover the "story" of the day's stage is so much better. THANK YOU!
Think Netflix has shown broadcasters there’s appetite for good cycling content
Tour de France has amazing production
Highlights are absolutely amazing this year! Really enjoyable and spoiler-free for those who can't watch the race live
Absolutely incredible coverage... basically a high quality short documentary every day, just a couple hours after the finish? I don't even know how you guys do it, but I wish every sport event I watched had your media team!!
Absolutely!!
It's so clear the TDF organizers learned how effective this sort of content can be. Grateful!
I love Pog's energy, hope he wins the gc
Looks like he will.
Wait and see!
Great coverage guys, I love the behind the scenes stuff too.
Found my new source of TdF highlights, just brilliant! Keep up the good work
INCREDIBLE EDITING! whosoever is putting these together deserves a payrise!
freakin HYPED about Netflix's series 2
I love the highlights.. amazing quality. keep it up!
😮 Y’all are crushing the TdF content!
this is the first year watchign the tour de france and its because of these highlights
Amazing work🙌 It's just like watching a short movie every day.
Magnus last year Neilson this year! EF riders showing the emotion and passion for the polkadots makes me so happy.
Infectious energy
We should have had highlights like this for years but better late than never 😊
man! my emotions went with that wait for the verdict... I was just looking for mvdp yesterday and there he was ...wow! as always the best moment for me everytime is when the wives or gfs of these guys come and congratulate them..good job to the editing staff.. thank you again for this...
Renshaw headbutts are one of the funniest TDF moments
These edits are fantastic ! So exciting, definitely bringing in more fans to the greatest cycling race in the world.
Wonderful highlights. Thanks so much.
What an excellent edit and well put together piece of cycling media content ❤
The amount of times I refreshed my TH-cam page to see if this was up is embarrassing 😂😂😂😂
Love these recaps! Keep them coming.
This is phenomenal. Subscribed. Merci beaucoup@LeTour!
Got to say these Highlights are incredible, really entertaining and informative to watch them. Keep up the good work!!
Highlights are absolutely amazing this year! Really enjoyable. To see moments like this is very good. If it was longer than this would be perfect. for bike lovers
these are really brilliant highlights!!!!
Best race highlights I have ever seen on all platforms.
Fantastic highlights , well done , hopefully brings more fans to this sport , the cinematic style makes the highlights more entertaining
Some quality highlights! Amazing production in such little time!
the vdo editing team is amazing!
Wow. Amazing highlights.
Wonderful recap! ❤
Brilliant post race footage, props to the folk behind the camera!
Absolutely amazing documentation.
,,,, and the behind the scenes, interviews, family/team reactions are important as they put the racing into context. Fantastic stuff.
Fantastic highlights!!! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Incredible work on these highlights!
I loved the radio transmissions, remind me of the Formula 1 best radio videos.
Tour de France Channel make the best highlight video I ever seen
I love this highlights really they give everything❤❤❤❤
Really great highlights!
This highlight is even better than a movie trailer lol
These highlights and the video editing are incredibale
Dude these highlights are incredible
This is the best highlights well done to the teams
Best recap of TDF out there! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
great highlights this year, so much better than last year!
quality highlights
Thank your for not spoiling the stage winners!
Awesome
Good job guys 👏
next time bini great win by PHILIPSEN Jasper and Alpecin love from ERITREA🦁
thank you sooo much for these- - here in Canada we are at the mercy of paywalls and vpn's...I can get Phil Liggett in highlites on peacock -sometimes- and wow loved the netflix doc--been a fan since the 70's--love love love le Tour--Gastown Grand Prix here next week---our own race lol- my cowbell is ready..
Exelent ...Verry goodnes
20 minute deliberation from a jury and 1st glance by phil ligget says somethings wrong. Somethings wrong. 🤷♂
The level of editing and post production story telling by TdF has gone one up! It's now looking like a professional race with professional production!
Same day edit highlights???? This good??? Merci Tour de France!
Starship Van der Poel begins his final approach to Coruscant 400 m from the finish, lights out. A leadout for the history
highlights top notch
Nice footage
Jasper "disaster" is really strong. But if Wout kept fighting, something bad could happen.
These are the best highlights I've ever seen! Keep going, gonna ditch the itv4 ones now!
Missing that intro music but glad that you added it in the end... 😂
and there is pogi be all friendly at the end looking at the video with jasper.. lol
gran finalmerecida victoria llevaba la via y gano por fuerza
This highlight could not be better. Absolutely superbly put together.
How is that not a penalty???
I like the new cinematic style d.o.p
X Vous êtes géniaux, la vitesse de vos vélos.
8:00 Pogi being a busy body 😂 trying to get his sponsor logos on camera
looks like the tdf staff liked the netflix show too ...
Hard to figure out where the line is for a penalty. Wout definitely got hindered, out of maybe a victory.
However he just slightly got of his line within the sprint. So hard to take his victory away...
Increase security measures at arrivals!!!!
Where exactly is that area in 4:00 (where the stones meet the water)
I am surprised he wasn't DQed. He kept pushing and leaning towards right to block Wout.
The presentation and editing is so much better, thank you TDF.
And Jasper disaster is not a disaster after all👏👏👏.
thats a movie
I hope fridays finnish in Bordeux is when Cavendish gets the record. I think thats the one they will be targeting .
Imagine how crazy the belgian press would have gone, if it was NOT a belgian rider that fenced in Wout!!
You're riding so fast it's nearly impossible to properly assess the safety of the moment. Jaspers wife is cute though.
Mark Cavendish looks good this year
Not significant? He was drifting right the whole time throwing his bike around. Oh and Alpecin were throwing their bikes around and almost clipped the rider they caught too.
1:55 - 4:30, anyone know the music?
It's a crime Philipsen got to keep the victory. Cut van Aert once even had a bit of a contact when they war shoulder to shoulder, then on 2nd cut van Aert stopped pedaling. Only reason there wasn't a bad crash is van Aert secondary job is to sprint, he's there to work for his leader.
It’s just highlights guys chill out😂
Go Jonas Vingegard 💪
Things became very dangerous.
Why did they Show the footage from vingegaard and pogacar in the beginning? I dont get the context
just as a recap from yesterday
Don’t understand. Jasper cut off wva. No penalty?!
it was a tight sprint ....thats clear ! otherwise , Wout would have probably won it
If it was Sagan, they would have sent him home.
I don't understand it either. If Wout had sprinted all the way, he would've crashed. Then it would've been a penalty for sure.
@@chuckcts-v3460 overstatement
So the Mountain stages is where the separation will come?
Yes! Next two days, especially on thursday with a long uphill finish to 1400m high.
Perfect for pogi.
Before the final climb on thursday, tourmalet awaits (2117meters)
yes, I'm waiting impatiently! I went to know the real shape of Pogi, he was 3 months without racing.
@@petermihacerar1137 I hope so, but I'm not sure about pogi's shape, he was 3 months without racing. Cross fingers for him!
Jasper Philipsen cut of Wout Van Aert. Should be penalized for it.
perfect work by Alpecin
Van Aert should won
Jasper did not get a penalty because there was no crash.
- Lao Tzu, probably
I did not notice
as I read tao de ching, that jasper was mentioned.
Between these updates and Netflix you are making this race even bigger….now if only we could drop shitty flocycling for North America and get some good tv coverage it would be amazing.
Yes. Please loose flo
Parcours builder of the 'biggest race of the world' doesn't know how to build a safe finish line... very sad.
The positioning of the boarding is absolutely woeful and there should never be a corner in the last 300m to keep things safe.
The aerial view shows how the finishing line is even closer to the inside of the corner than to the outside!
A miracle no crash has occurred, no doubt thanks to the fact Van Aert was clever enough not to push.
Philipsen should have been disqualified or been given a penalty. If Wout kept going he would have crashed, and Philipsen deviates even more just before the line...
Seriously, starts his sprint 3m away from the barriers, then swings over so hard he almost crashes himself into the fence. Total cheap shot, undeserved "win."
1:03 was Wout van Aert fined for that behaviour? Surely that is not professional and the Tour de France should not accept such reactions.
