this is a fix to get me out of trouble. I will replace the manifolds soon but needed the car. after 500 miles it is still ok. paypal wardyscycleworx@gmail.com
Great video, everything well explained 👍🏻 thanks for sharing, I’m surprised there’s not more on this issue as it is a common issue… mine has been like it for 12 months but it’s £900+ at a garage 😮
Got mine in the garage at the minute for an O/S inlet manifold/rocker cover replacement. The N/S went 2.5 years ago so quite lucky it lasted so long after. At least I have peace of mind once this side is done as everything else has been sorted. Great cars when all is running smoothly.
Thank you great video liked the way you explained it. Did you find out what type of plastic you used? I have the same problem with a power wash handle? would not have been easier to replace injectors and a new manifold at the same time?
Great video, mate..got the same issue at the minute. Just smoke tested mine and can see it smoking from the join in the manifold. Going to try and seal it first after watching your video, before I replace. Thanks for sharing. 👌
You are amazing. Could you please give me an oppinion for my problem. I have an F-Pace 2016, 3.0D V6. About a year and a half ago, after I bought a used car I had a cracked DPF core, that was profesionally replaced. After that I noticed a short oil service interval. I started monitoring the data and noticed the DPF regen cycle is happening from just 120-200km regardless of driving style. I then changed the dpf differential pressure sensor, changed the oil separator, took of the throttle body and cleaned it and check the flap if it's sticking, had DPF removed, opened and inspected, diesel injectors cleaned (they couldn't programm new correction codes to the car for some reason) the problem gotten worse since then 80-150km between regens. I had a smoke test done - nothing is leaking but they probably did it on a cold car - Jaguar dealership. I tried premium diesel, addtitives, changing driving styles... Anyway, could it be the intlet manifold crack that is causing all of this? I noticed that at high speeds on the highway the soot is rising quite fast and passive regen isn't really working....
Just having one of these done now. £852
And the throttle body seal. 30.
Good job I love the car. Or else it would of been weigh in

Great video I had both mine replaced around 3 years ago

Will you fix mine for me?
Have the same RP issue 😢

How is the car now?
Well done 👏👏👏

It could well be. Have a look for oil residue on the manifold.
@@wardysworx sadly I can't find it. All looks completely dry... On both sides.
I've got the same issue with mine (except its the left side that's cracked) 😢
This wouldn't have lasted for a week.
