After getting rejected by a goth girl vampire with her daddy issue, I lost my faith to Lady Mara, and started to devote myself to Dibella by installing mod from the very very lore friendly website.
"When I think of romance, I think of Skyrim." Very relatable. Reminds me of how I view seasons. Winter is Skyrim, spring and summer is Kingdom Come Deliverance. As in, when I go for a walk during this time, it's hard not to think of those games. Still waiting on my definitive autumn game.
@@DroppedIceCreamMods Why yes, you do need to play it! The forests are extremely lifelike and since I live very close to where the game takes place, it's really hard not to see the game as real countryside and real countryside as the game.

As someone who started with A Skyrim Romance -(Bishop now plays the role of toxic ex who won't leave my DB alone)- I'm so glad to see so many wonderful new healthy relationship and interesting dynamic romance followers have been introduced. I loved Kadian for a while, and I'm excited to see the Kaidan Workshop re-imagine him, I'm also excited to try a few new followers I haven't played with before. I've also done Caryalind's romance and I plan to have them both installed on this next go round playing Skyrim so my dragonborn isn't the only one finding romance while traveling Skyrim. I've just installed Val Serano and I've heard good things about Gore. I'd never heard of Warden of the coast, so I'm excited to download and try that mod as well! I suppose my merry band of 6 (DB, Kai, Lucien, Inigo, Caryalind, and Bishop (muted by NFF and dressed as either Aldy or Parthy as the mood takes me. Look I like the ballgowns, so sue me?) is about to get much, much larger. Though I imagine now I won't be so reluctant to let Lucien go study his ruins and make poor decisions with dwemer automata, or have Inigo hang out with Langley if I've got more followers. Heck, even Cary and Kai will now be able to leave my party to settle down at Autmun watch, and I can just visit them whenever I'm in the rift instead. And I usually leave Bishop forever sulking in Riverwood forever, instead of progressing his relationship any further after fighting Alduin.

@@CrimsonKLake From what I've heard, the guy got arrogant, and the EE team put a statement on their site that they don't allow anyone else to use his services for other Kaidan projects/extensions. But don't quote me on that, I didn't go too deep into that drama rabbit hole.
I think my favorite romancable custom companion is Rigmor in the Rigmor series. I know a lot of people hate it but I really like the characters and Rigmor is just my type of partner in game lol.
My favorite romance mod is the one that lets you marry Neloth- as well as one that lets you marry anyone and also Cicero // us gals and gay guys don’t get many good romance options, fr! (Except those into your cookie cutter personality types)
I haven’t played with many of these mods but I really enjoyed the Knight of the Void. She felt incredibly natural, despite her inherent outlandishness, and the relationship is really sweet. May not be the happiest ending but it is still very heartwarming and it made my VIGILANT playthrough so much better. Why would a devote follower of Stendarr accept Molag Bal’s offer for anything but love?

Bishop - A Skyrim Romance Mod. I seriously don't understand all the hate. Maybe back in the day he was an ass, but with the latest version Bishop has been nothing but a roguish sweetheart to me. Yesterday he took me to a romantic view point where we had our first kiss. Very memorable moment. Admittedly I've been a fan since this mod's inception. It really is streets ahead.
For a moment I thought you didn't include Marty's Serana Dialogue Add-on, not sure how I would've reacted were it left out lots of hard work went into it. Also Kaidan 2 is very well done despite me seeing Kaidan more of a common bro for my character.
I just want romance mods without all the sex amd nasty shh... I want my marriage to feel more real instead of them just saying "hello my love" and such.
Young lovers is awesome, takes vanilla voices to another level... and you need Sexlab framework, and the animations ofc.. but if you want more nasty stuff I recommend Yuriana buxom wench ( It uses Sexlab) And lastly, Spouses Enhanced.
