Just in case Banjo Kazooie doesn't make it into Smash Bros Ultimate I took it upon myself to make more animated covers of this series because HOLY does this work so well like a Hanna Barbera cartoon and could be used for more of Grant Kirkhope's whimsical orchestral music.
I cannot express how much fun I had when coming up with various ideas with this opening, and some new music plugins at my arsenal like "World Suite UVi" definitely played a huge part in making the instruments not only sound more authentic but give me new ones like a digeridoo, jawharp etc. I have a feeling I'm going to be sticking with this plugin for a very long time.

It also has to do with the shape of the instrument. In the video game, Mumbo crashes down on Banjo, Kazooie, and Tooty playing what looks to be an alto sax by its shape. It’s rendering model would have the lowest polygon count of any curved sax shape. However, the notes produced sound like those of a baritone sax. Not that Mumbo was bound by the laws of practicality in the video game intro cutscene.

I also like that they actually made the saxophone a tenor sax. You can tell by the 360 bend it has at the top. The actual sound is way too low for a alt sax which is what they have in the actual intro.

That makes me happy to hear! I was actually kind of worried I leaned in too much on angular since it's a style I'm quite fond of, but Banjo-Kazooie feels it benefits more looking more rounded and soft, like you said

Banjo-Kazooie is my favourite game from my childhood. I still replay it every few years. You've no idea how happy it made me watching this.
