Honda e:NY1 electric (European version) - sensors visible in Car Scanner ELM OBD2
some important sensors are NOT displayed:
- HV battery voltage
- HV battery temperature
- cell voltage, SOH
Honda E:NY1 electric (Europe):
- 68.8 kWh gross capacity (61.9 kWh usable)
- DC charging max 78 kW
- Vitesco Technologies 201 hp /310 Nm (228 lb-ft) permanent magnet synchronous motor
- no heat pump
- front motor is very noisy almost at every speed, especially on highway
- there is a strange slack (loose connection) between motor and the front axle, perceivable during each acceleration and deceleration. Never experienced such slack in any other EV
- generally: nice cabin but poorly designed EV drivetrain

Calculation of battery health - calculating kWh from Ah
Ah is a measure of current, and kWh is a measure of power over time. The conversion between these units involves multiplying the voltage by the Ah rating and dividing by 1000.
VOLTAGE PER CELL
Lithium-Ion batteries have a nominal voltage of (circa) 3.7 volts per cell. By using the cells in series, a battery pack can have any voltage possible in 3.7 volt steps.
I could not find information on nominal Ah in brand new battery pack, nor actual/nominal battery pack voltage, so this calculation is only approximate, based on my assumptions:
e:NY1 battery pack has 96 Cells (European version).
this e:NY1 has 191 Ah (shown in Car Scanner)
96 x 3.7V = 355.2V nominal pack voltage?
355.2V x 191 Ah = 67.8432 kWh
(I entered this calculation as a new relational custom pid in Car Scanner)
