    Damn. That's a lot of work. Nice job guys. I love this channel. Great video/review. It really helps me understand all that's going on with these trucks/lifts & how you get them up in the air. I recently got my truck lifted but had no idea so much was involved. Thanks again for the great content. Please keep em coming.

    Hey Shawn, I really like all of your vids and appreciate how much you go into detail about everything! I have a question do you guys have any of the rectangular Chrome running boards that you have taken off of Silverados and Denalis because I wanted to put a pair on my 6-inch lifted Silverado but I wanted to save a little money because I might buy a new wheel tire set from you guys!

    • @biggesttboss
      @biggesttboss 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      GD, would u be willing to sell me or even send me a decent pair that ain't terrible, at least I could see what they would look like on my Silverado before I waist $700 on a pair and don't like them. I'm def looking into getting wheels and tires from you guys for sure also!

    Im thinking about buying an already 6 inch lifted silverado. In your opinion what are the cons of a lifted truck or could you do a video of the pros and cons of a lifted truck thanks.

    • @SelfMadeGrnd
      @SelfMadeGrnd 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      JDUBHITZ there are no cons, just do it! Only con is that if you don't go big then your going to regret not going bigger lol. But on a serious level only con is your going to loose gas mileage because lift and tires, but who cares. You pay to play. Just don't go on cheap on lift kit, I highly suggest BDS, or save up to buy a BDS kit

    @customoffsets with the 6.5 BDS LIFT ON A 2016 Silverado, will 20 x 10 inch rims with 35 x 12.5 trail grapplers rub?
    Also with the BDS kit, so I need to put a steering stablizer or pitman/idol arm brace?
    Or is the kit complete and you don't need to add to it?
    Also, how do you reset the speedometer to keep the proper MPH with the bigger tires?
    Thanks

    I see on different Chevrolet trucks, the fox shock is mounted different on the rear. In the paper work for my 1500 silverado it says the body of the shock is on top, yours look like they are upside, down. Does it really matter which way they are installed?

    I've been watching a lot of your install vids, this was one of the first were the installer mounted the rear shocks with the body on the bottom and not on top. Is that just installer preference?

    • @CustomOffsetsTV
      @CustomOffsetsTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on the brand of the shocks! Performance shocks are typically body up, while most OEM replacement or basic shocks are body down.

    • @CustomOffsetsTV
      @CustomOffsetsTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The easiest/cheapest way would be to do a norcal mod and some trimming

    • @braydenc4663
      @braydenc4663 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Custom Offsets I did plastic trimming but a shop told me I would have to cut into the floor board of my truck and push the back of the fender back but I wanted to see if there was a different way like maybe leveling the front ? Or a wider wheel ?
