It's difficult for the community to grow since this game is rated mature and verifies email confirmation for players over 18. If high schoolers had access and there were more collaborations to promote the game, there would've been more sustainable growth.
Honestly i hope bloodhunt doesnt get abandoned like alot of games do bc bloodhunt is seriously a fun and enjoyable game. Doesnt feel like apex where you have to be a god of movement to not go down in one clip, not like fort where you have to be a absolute cracked builder. Its just a fun somewhat simple but complex game
Development stopped last year. The only thing keeping servers open is the active community 😅

This game had so much potential given the Vampire: Masquerade franchise name stuck to it. I played it at launch on my GTX 960 2GB and it wasn't the best experience in terms of graphics but still playable. Perhaps if it didn't have the major issues it has been facing to this day it could have got a lot more new players in to the game and retain them. Most of my friends don't prefer games like this due to the verticality, like what you have in The Finals, the game I'm currently hooked on. I never understood why most people prefer playing PUBG, Valorant, Apex Legends, Fortnite, Overwatch 2 to this or The Finals.
I tried playing Fortnite but realised it wasn't for me because of the structure building mechanism. Tried Valorant too, but the art style didn't interest me, felt like CS:Go but with special abilities, which wasn't a problem, it was just the art style.
I had spent hundreds of hours playing Apex Legends from launch and hopped back in a year later, but then I ditched it eventually when friends stopped playing it.
As of now, The Finals is something fresh and an eye candy in my opinion. It's the first free-to-play game that had me willing to spend real money on battlepass. I think it's the least lazy design in the competitive game genre with the amount of detail and well thought out skin designs and colour palettes the devs had put in.

I started playing this game yesterday and i find it refreshing, i like its take on a battle royal and the vampire lore and mechanics, what i dont understand is all the problem with it that people keeop mentioning.
What is it that made people stop playing it?
Apparently it was the bugs but I'm not running into a lot of bugs to be honest
I think that what this game need is a very famous youtuber or stream to play it, so eventually it gets more players on it.

I recently upgraded my pc & I found that running more then 120hz causes stutters.
Another thing I noticed was if you play with a polling rate of 1000hz it also causes frame buffering issues.
mind you I have a 4090 / 7800x3d lol. doesn’t matter what system you have, the game just runs weird. it’s the only game I have issues in & has to do extensive work to make it run smooth

I’m guessing this is because the game is not optimized for 1000hz.
When you think about it, the game is a console port. so ps5 controllers run at like 500hz I believe

Yes it does, and it applies to all damage, so zone and other players too!

The game is not receiving any more development, and the state of the game isn't great.

its crazy i literally downloaded this game again because tarkov is literally ruining there game and i cant even escape someone talking about it in a different video game. nakita has some issues he really needs to fix. like lying for starters. to the whole entire community
