The ole 685 lb VMax holds its own pretty good. The foot pegs are going to need replacing soon. 😄 especially the left. Your doing it right also looks like it’s trying to wheelie towards the end, Stay safe !
@@GrapefruitMoto I'm running ME888's on my 09. I upgraded from the stock Bridgestones. I really like both tires. I'm also running a 21liter tank with slipons & a "nash flash". I like seeing videos like this one! Please make more. What gears were you in? I suspect 2nd & 3rd.
@@KareemHadee I was using all of the gears, but primarily 2-4. If I still had the bike I would. But I started doing more trackdays and wanted to tour more, and with no factory luggage easily available I got a different bike. I traded it out for a 2020 Yamaha MT-10 and it has been the perfect bike for me. I plan on getting another VMAX again some day, but the MT-10 is a perfect machine for what I do. Although it's getting retired from track days too since I bought a track beater.
My VMAX was custom Dynoed by 2 Wheel Dyno Works in Kirkland, Washington. I had a Hindle 4-1 system and the custom cut out airbox mod. I could never run the Metzler tires as they don't have the grip the way I used the bike.
@@GrapefruitMoto I can see how a vmax would not make a good track bike. Honestly I would love to ride a VFR1200F (2012 - 2015) as a track bike. I prefer V4's and boxxer-style engines at this time. When I looked at the video it seemed as if you were in 2nd gear quite a lot except in the straightaways. I'm not criticizing your riding, just taking notes. One of these days I would like to do a track day on my bike. Keep making videos. I find them helpful!

Yeah wanted to get a wheelie onto the straight. Foot pegs got ground halfway down and I still have them as souvenirs haha.
Prepare to get gaptized this season
What track was this? What was your perspective on the lean angles you could attain on the Vmax?
The Ridge Motorsports Park in Washington State.
What type of Tires are you using during this video?
Shinko Verge 011, excellent on this bike especially
