I was there in 2005 and 2006. I was also in Kabwe, Kapiri Mposhi, Kitwe and Mufulira. I was seeing a woman from Mufulira at the time. I would love to go back there and explore more of the country outside of Lusaka and the Copperbelt. But that is only a dream now.

20 years ago we didn't have the levy and heroes stadiums, interconnecting highway bridges, upgrade of KKIA and UTH. And these are from the top of my head, lusaka has changed quite remarkably in the past 10 years let alone 20 years. however, the CBD remains relatively the same but lusaka is not only the CBD

@@chesshudsen4643 the same president who increased our debt well over 110% ( $1.5B to $21B ) and made us the 1st African country to default on our debt? How I hate to say Lusaka is beautiful, have they happen to see what a beautiful city look like?or else you will make the town planners feel as though they are doing a good job and yet nothing, try to visit these cities:Harare city, Nairobi city, Johannesburg city or even any towns in South Africa and you will know what I mean, what is the problem with Zambia? A country which has never experienced any war, all our neighbors are doing so fine. If town planners have run out of ideas, let them quite and give others chance!!

I live in Lusaka. By far the most ugly city I ever lived in. Mostly outdated, buildings and no parks or open air recreative spaces. Finding this city beautiful means you have never seen a beautiful city. It does feels like a home, though, thanks to its wonderful people.

No peace always fighting. Rather be in a poor city that is peaceful..than rich citing with terrorists and bombs everyday.

@@AK-hg1iq well i have travelled around Southern Africa quite a few times including Zambia due to their incredible raw and natural tourism which isn't over commercialised or westernised, I can categorically say your description of the place as inaccurate. There is order and peace, adequate security, lovely malls, restaurants, pubs , night clubs and cultural locations and villages, the country is also culturally rich with several ceremonies taking place throughout the year at any given time. The country has at least 3 natual 7 wonders of the world and rich in different animal, bird and aquatic species, lots of beautiful picturesque bare land, something you can probably only dream of. The people are also the nicest warm, accommodating, and friendly citizens ive met in a foreign country. So definitely think again..hell on earth is not the correct description for this beautiful African country.
