There was a colonial plan under Rhodesia to intentionally do this as soon as Shona and Ndebele simply REFUSED to work for whites and were too militant and a plan was hatched to make population more docile😢 But that's story for another day. It's changed even how the people now look compared to when I was a kid in 70 and 80s
I agree with you, Zimbabwe has been infiltrated with migrants from DRC, Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique and even Ethiopia. All of them dub themselves as Shonas.
Many people calling themselves Shonas are not.

Have you been to Zimbabwe?
Lusaka is comparable with rural towns in Zimbabwe like Mupandawana in Gutu. Harare cannot be compared with Lusaka it’s like comparing New York City with Congo.
@@adams6798 Lusaka is a richer City according to Africa Wealth City report and better living standards than Cities like Harare

My guy it’s a lie, we know it’s politics, western world try to tarnish the image of Zimbabwe by all means.
Zimbabwe is the second most beautiful country in Africa after SA, actually some parts of Zimbabwe look like Europe.
It’s easy take a trip and move around Harare and we can have a discussion or ask some people from Congo or even Zambians who knows Harare.
I know both of those cities quite well and Lusaka is not anywhere close to Harare.
Lusaka can be compared with Masvingo 5th largest city in Zimbabwe on a serious note.
The person who made this video wanted people to argue and please stop comparing
As a Zimbabwean residing in Zambia.
We still have a long way to go as a country(Zimbabwe) to be where Zambia is.
Zimbabwe for the moment,is only good on Social Media.
Any Zimbabwean whether from Borrodale or Citungwiza who has stayed in Zambia for more than 2 years will tell you that Zambia is far much better than Zimbabwe in many areas.

l have seen a lot that l really want most Zimbabweans to see.Zimbabweans are on Cruise mode now, they have all adapted to their lives and trust me when l tell you this, most Zimbabweans are living in an illusion which l am pretty sure will take sometime to unveil from their eyes.
The banking system in Zimbabwe is not centralised which makes things very difficult. Just remove Ecocash, and see how ruined the lower class will be.
In Zimbabwe, you either need to have links for your things to work,or just pure luck or with resources. For people who live on a day to day budget, its hard for them to find opportunities that may shift their lives around..
Trust me nothing is really legit in zimbabwe, nothing. Its like its now engraved in our DNA to always work without 100% transparency..
ZIMBABWE ECONOMY is not a normal economy,,its not at all both formal and informal sectors except for Legit foreign private companies.
Most zimbabweans dont even realise that our economy is really really bad.Until you all are ready to kill the lesser in us all, forget about seeing whats beyond veil thats blinding most of Zimbabweans.
Zimbabwe is only good on social media, nothing more.
We are talking about infrastructure here
@@munashedzvimbo2741 By Infrastructure, you do know what it refers to right?
Infrastructure is composed of public and private physical structures such as roads, railways, bridges, tunnels, water supply, sewers, electrical grids, and telecommunications.
If you have been out of Zimbabwe by Road ,all the Main roads that interlink Zimbabwe to other countries are very very bad.
On your way to SouthAfrica ,you will see the difference am talking about.Theres more than 100km of very bad road connecting SA side and Zim side. When you reach SA side, they will be a big difference as their main roads are good.
Same with Zambia,,using Chirundu Road,Zim side is very very bad.Drivers who do cross country will tell, its very bad for buses what more small cars? But when you reach Zambian side ,its very smooth.
All main oads are very smooth here in Zambia. The first interchange thats being built in Mbudzi are here Lusaka.
Talking about telecommunications,in Zim theres only Econet and Netone ,and theres no competition between them thats prices are soo high and poor networking strength and coverage.
Did you know that its $0.80usd for 8GB on Zamtel that lasts for 7days? Here in zambia.Social media like Instagram and facebook is for free here.
Looking at Zim,nothing on telecommunications is affordable.
When comparing countries, you look at the low class and compare them to see if they can survive the economy. In Zimbabwe the minimum strive to survive than those in Zambia.
Zimbabweans are soo many here in Zambia and stealing peoples staff at gun point. Its very rare for Zambians to do that.
I was at the Chirundu border recently and about four Zimbabweans were captured with guns hiding inside a Fuel tank haulage with the intention of coming here to rob Zambians. All this is happening because of poor things in Zimbabwe thats includes infrastructure

That is stupid to say so, people move for business opportunities, you have plenty of Chinese and Indians in Zambia. Does it means that India and China is poor? You know that Zimbabweans are artisans, traders ever since Munhumutapa Kingdom. Shona people used to travel as far as Arabia and India for trade.
It’s not a mockery to say Zimbabwe is more advanced than Zambia, it’s a reality. Lusaka can be compared with rural towns in Zimbabwe like Gutu, actually Gutu is much better.
Have you been to Harare East? Harare is a very advanced city much better than Johannesburg.

@@TinsosAfricanExcursion what do you mean by protectorate??? Answer the question
@@mticha9566 It means Zambia was not a settlement colony as the white guys did not intended to settle permanently in Zambia. for the British. Rather It signed an agreement with the British (King Lewanika did) so that the land of now modern Zambia would be protected by the British against rival local tribes. In return for this protection, Zambia granted mining rights to the British, American and South African based companies that were controlled by Britain. Kenya, Zimbabwe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada... Those were the Crown colonies for the British empire, who wanted those for themselves, for their permanent settlement
