Thanks for the tips!! We are going to Tromso at the end of October/first week of November. Do you recommend to book a car for chasing the norther lights?
Hi Teresa! If you wish to chase the Northern Lights, I would highly recommend researching about the best possible dark spots in and around Tromso and the Finnmark area before booking a car. That way, you’ll know where to go to get the best chances of seeing them. Sometimes, you may have to drive as far as Finland as well (bring your passport with you when you do decide to drive for your chase in case you have to cross the border). I also recommend booking a tour; however, they don’t necessarily always guarantee a successful trip. The nice thing about having a car is you can travel to as many places as you wish during your entire stay to increase your chances of seeing the Northern Lights. I hope this helps! :-) Happy hunting and I hope you’ll see them during your trip!
@@dr_ivyghoshWe were so thankful to see them after many years of trying! The aurora was strong so we could even see them from downtown Tromsø! Do you have plans to see them? They are predicted to be really strong next year!!

Hi there! Thank you so much! Your comments mean a lot to us and they keep us inspired. November is normally a great time to go as winter starts to set in and Tromso starts to transition from autumn. I found this video po.. I love it! Will visit the places you’ve been to. May I ask po, how many days po kayo sa Tromso?
@@TitaJoyinDubai Hi again! 🙂 we were there for 4 nights and 5 days.

Btw amazing Video !
@@LeqioProduktion hi there! Thank you so much! We used our iPhone, our Nikon z6ii and GoPro. 🙂
What month did you go?
@jennauvalle2310 hi, we were there in late November
Hihi may I ask what time did u book for the tromso Artic reindeer tour? Is it morning 10am or 1pm slot ?
@heyawesome7627 Hi there! We booked the 10 AM tour.
:-) Happy hunting and I hope you’ll see them during your trip!
hey did you catch the northern lights?
@@dr_ivyghoshWe were so thankful to see them after many years of trying! The aurora was strong so we could even see them from downtown Tromsø!
Do you have plans to see them? They are predicted to be really strong next year!!
@dr_ivyghosh we did! ☺️ We saw them for four straight nights
HI this video is amazing! Just a quick question what was the name of the hotel you stayed in? thank you ma'm
Thank you! We stayed at the Clarion Collection Hotel With
may i ask which season did you go to tromso? i may go there on Sept、Oct, could i see any snow-views like you?
We went in November. As with all things weather it’s hard to predict but Oct you may see snow. It’s the start of the winter season. Ideally you’ll want it to snow before you arrive otherwise the cloud cover is going to prevent you from seeing the Northern Lights.
Is it a good time to go in December?
@@namanjain7925 it definitely is 🙂
Wow ! Is this early or late november? Thanks
Hi there! It was late November last year. 😀
@@worthytravelsthank you! Going there early november of this year . Hoping to see the northern lights 🙏
@bepositivealways9509 have fun! I hope the Northern Lights appear during your visit. Let me know if you have any other questions. 🙂
Wonderful video. May I know which hotel you stayed in on the first night?
@@juliesl3829 Thank you! We stayed at the Clarion Collection With.
Sigh, Ive been wanting to go there since 2017. Do you recommend travelling alone there?
Absolutely! We’ve met so many solo travelers during our trips to Norway and they all enjoyed their time there. Not only is Norway a truly beautiful place to visit, but the Norwegians are the most accommodating and kindest people. Let me know if you have more questions and Adrian and I are more than happy to help you. 🙂
Do you mind share with me about hotel did you stay in Tromso? We are going next month, but no idea where to stay there? Thank you!
@@cindychen3569 Hi! We stayed at the Clarion Collection Hotel With. It’s right on the Harbour
Which month did you travel to Tromso? When do you think is better to go and have more chances to see the northern lights?
@hmarouli hi there! We were there in late November last year. I was told October to December is the best time to go since chances of clear skies are higher during these months. I hope this helps.
Hi! How long did you stay there for?
Hi! We were there for 4 nights.
Thank you very much.
We might be planning a 5 day stay in january. Defenitly whale watching and the northern lights tour. But because off you video we consider to take a fjord tour and reindeer tour :-)
@LegendzComboApe1993 thank you so much! We highly recommend both tours, especially the fjord tour as they take you to breathtaking places outside of Tromso. And the reindeer are just adorable and fun! 🙂 Have a wonderful trip and let us know if we can be of further help.
@@worthytravels thank you so much
@LegendzComboApe1993 you’re very welcome!
Hey there!! Beautiful narration, I loved your journey. I'm planning a trip to Norway myself during winters next year! I understand the weather is unpredictable, but are there certain weeks during the winters with more cloud cover than the other days? I was thinking of going in the first week of November. Would appreciate any help regarding specificities of the cloud cover. 😄
Hi there! Thank you so much! Your comments mean a lot to us and they keep us inspired. November is normally a great time to go as winter starts to set in and Tromso starts to transition from autumn. The nights are mostly clear too. There is really no direct way to predict the weather conditions so far ahead of time. However, there are many ways to help you plan your trip, like the KP index, etc. I have more tips on our video too: feel free to check out Your Northern Lights Guide | Aurora Borealis | Tromso | 4k
th-cam.com/video/uU-WPNrwns4/w-d-xo.html. Are you pretty firm with first week of November for your trip?
@@worthytravels This helps a lot, and your video is very informative too! I'm definitely open to change of dates/months. I assumed late October/early November would be a good time to see some of the leftover autumn 🍁🍂 Would love to hear your opinions though! 😄
@@maithreyinair9052thank you! I’m so glad you found the video helpful. Early November is good too. However, we chose late November as we were told the chances of clearer skies are high during that time of the year. But the good news is there will be high solar activity next year so your chances of seeing the Northern Lights could be much greater than usual. 🙂 Also, if you want to do activities such as snowshoeing, dog sledding, I recommend late November to December as there will more likely be more snow by then. I hope this helps!
Super helpful again. Will keep this in mind. Thank you so much and I look forward to seeing a lot more of your travel stories! 😍 @@worthytravels
@@maithreyinair9052 thank you! We look forward to releasing more videos for you! Please stay in touch and let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. We appreciate your support. It inspires us to keep going. :-)
Awesome tips!!
When did you get there in Tromso? We are planning to go early February and hope to get that much Northern lights as you guys!
Hi Gustavo! Thank you so much! We went last November (2022). I was told that November would be good due to higher chances of clear skies. But we have always gone to Norway in February in the past and it is dreamy! Thank you again and please let us know if you have any more questions. We’re always happy to help 😀
October will be perfect
Have u seen the northern lights in november??
@SrianVlogs yes, late November last year.
@@worthytravelshello, the video is just amazing, thank you. My dream is also seeing northern lights and well travelling to Tromso with my 6 years old kid will be quite difficult, no direct flights and very very expensive for us. But will do! You mentioned that you visited Norway in February; didnt you see the NL the times you were there in Feb? I do not mind the month to go; i just want to go whichever month has the highest chance to show NL 🎉 thanks. 😊
