Love Jason Becker! He's such an inspiration and his guitars are so fun! Attended a benefit for him last night and got to hold the original guitars he used to record his early albums, before he was diagnosed with ALS... and there's a really cool new Ying Yang style Kiesel Becker model that's Blue & Red commemorating his new album coming out soon... Strawberry Jams! 😎🎸🤘🫶
That guitar reminds me of Romper Room kiddie show 😆 What is crazy is the Jeff Beck signature guitars, both his Yardbird ones, the Esquire goes near 20,000 and his LP over 10,000.00! Insane. Maybe in part because they are limited editions. BTW, this was just as good watching it again. Thank you Phil.
I have one of those Allen wrench trem arms, but I stopped using it when I got a Bill Edward Cam-Lock locking nut on my main Floyd guitar. You can lock the strings down with the cam lock nut and the guitar doesn’t go out of tune. The cam locks just screw into your Floyd locking nut and it works like magic. I want another one for a different guitar, but I think the guy must have died or something because his website isn’t up anymore and I can’t find them anywhere on the internet.
@@alkyhauler8185 I did not know that. I thought the twisting motion of tightening down the allen always pulled everything slightly out of tune. The cam presses the strings straight down. I haven't used the fine tuners on the bridge since I got the cam lock
@@tj10777 Oh it definitely works and is quicker I've had one Kahler introduced it. The blocks in the standard FR nut have very little room to twist if it's a real FR nut, not chinese crap. There is a reason the cam lock idea didn't catch on and is basically extinct now. Think about it.
Phil, I don't to order some Deoxit. There are so many kinds though, and it's expensive stuff. Can you recommend one or two for the rotary knobs on an amp. And, a pickup switch on my ES 335?
I love the basic natural top non-nonsense look and vibe of the "numbers guitar", but wish they'd offer a (still Becker) version without the Playskool primary color scheme. I don't think you can get the same thing with their configurator.
If you can find a guitar we could not find, please post it, if you find one I will pin the comment
Ltd SD1 Sammy Duet signature model. There was only 30 made. Sold out in less than 2 minutes. Good luck finding one.
A Bond guitar?
A Gibson korina moderne?
A Dillion Guitars LP or PRS copy.

Man I miss the old Carvin stuff…
I was eating during watching this so I didn’t notice if he also numbered the strings as well. ; )

If you string it properly it wont go out of tune when you lock the nut, the cam lock does nothing to alleviate that it's simply quicker.

@@alkyhauler8185 Thanks for the tip. I'll order one from floyd rose and try it out.

Looks like super low action as well! Love these guitars...
❤ Jason!
That guitar is cool in a nifty kinda way.... :D
That lead tone is super thick! What speaker / mic combo?

2mins in…what is that guitar all the way on the left next to the sg?
🤘
FYI-the new Peavey Vandy’s are made in Czechoslovakia.
I 100% remember the ads. 😀👍
How many box tops of cracker jacks does it cost
My guess is the bass vi firefly. What awesome prize do I win???
Shredyourgear demo
I'd be interested to know how much an artist gets paid per guitar sold.
A Bond guitar? ⏳
Are there dimarizos
Seymour Duncan
✨🤘🏽✨
I want a numbers. but floyds are not my thing
Same, I would much rather have the Kiesel hipshot trem. I would love a Numbers Vader!
I have 4 numbers guitars, two of them are Vader. I find myself playing those most.
@@vita-girl4345 I got a few Kiesel headless models and they are just wonderful to play. I really want 1. It is just a matter of time before I get one
@@vita-girl4345 right on dude!
That arm would be alot cooler if it was a push in instead of the crappy screw in. Seems like a missed oppurtunity...
Blimey.
Phil you have a nice piece of ash 😐
I'm sorry, but that is one fugly guitar.
