Good work, but I think I noticed a couple of small scratches in the finish. I think Stew Mac do a very good flamethrower, which might have prevented the slight damage.
Lovely to see the correct use of impact technology on this. This is the second time I've seen this correct method used and it is just as good to watch. Thanks Ryan!
It's already spoken for if it ever hits his chopping block market. Or until I finally can't wait any longer and just get one for my self, which I believe will be the case. From our discussions I don't think it will ever see the light from anyone's house but his.😆
I agree, I have a Chickenbacker. The main problem that no one mentions is that these guitars are about 80% solid and 20% hollow. Real Rics are about 80% hollow and 20% solid. So even if you get real Toaster pickups and rewire it will never sound right. May sound good but not like a real Ric. Chinese are good at making copies but they blew this one.
Nice relic job. I'm not into destroying stuff for destruction sake tbh. This guitar could have frustrated a new player into giving up learning guitar.. think about that when you destroy your next guitar.
I can vouch for the behind the scenes guitar give away. What was it Ryan 4 years ago I got the $60.00 Glarry thing you tried the Hydro Dipped project Grant sent you. Yep that was a real project just to get it sanded down again. Haven't got much past that phase, but I still have it all still awaiting some miracle awakening. 😆
