- On day number one of my late spring/ early summer send on the south shore of Long Island I stumbled on a wide open bite of striped bass gorging themselves on sand crabs and even took one back to cook up for dinner!

Can't believe how clear that water was, awesome day of fishing, man! I feel like every time I cook fish I justify it as a "free" meal even though I spent loads on tackle and ingredients haha. Still, nothing beats eating your fresh catch.

Love your stuff! Keep up the great work. Fishing the Jersey Shore was one of the most wonderful memories from my childhood. My grandfather used to take me fluke in and shark River fishing the sea wall in Manasquan, Sandy Hook and the beach of Beach State Park.
I used to love surf , betty fishin . Unfortunately age has caught up to me along with crippling lyme. That you for entertaining me love it good luck my freind. Be safe

I just got into surf fishing, idk if its LBI but the tides always seem to be wayy out deeper, i cant ever cast behind the breaks and never see them up this shallow. Guess i gotta move around more
