Great pockets. Sitting here catching up on TH-cam and making collages. Pretty relaxing. A glass of wine and a stack of paper. What more could a football widow want? Thanks for sharing.
Inspiring, Im so grateful that you and other lovely generous crafters are happy to share your talents. Off to make some pockets for my journal. Blessings. X.
Watching you create is always a delight and inspirational. Your sense of proportion, balance and color choices is impeccable. I adore your organized supplies!
Love the pockets, fast and easy 💜💜💜 Too funny about the clothes line, I use mine from spring through fall, love fresh smelling clothes Normally it's in the 30's F during the winter months here, but had 60 & 70's last week for a few days, then 75 F again on Mon. Tues was severe storms with 11 confirmed tornadoes near me. Of course, temp drop with wind chills below 0 and snow on Wed. Sunny but cold today. Thurs and back to the 70's for the weekend, just crazy. With that said, I did have blankets on the line to air out and onion skin and blackberry dyed papers to dry, yep, my neighbors wonder about me I'm sure, lol. Enjoy your day!!!😊
Shwmae Ceri 🤓 This is a brilliant idea for 6x6 papers! I'm feeling the vibes here and itching to have a go at this. And YES please if you can think of JJing or other uses for the 6x6s. I try to source most of my craft materials as free, 2nd hand, unwanted and unloved. So, I have a growing stack of 6x6s. Diolch yn fawr for sharing your creative thinking and creative process with the rest of us! 🥰
✨🌼❣️Thank you❣️🌼✨ Ooo 6x6! Lovely idea, iam might do some, definitely will bc i have to many 6x6 pad 😅✌️ Thank you Ceri love the way you working at, thanks for shareing ❣️❣️❣️
Hi Ceri, I recently bought some of that art glitter glue and the metal tip accessory and it did indeed come with a metal stick pin . Thank you for your fun videos.
Thank you, Ceri..I have written to you several times and did not comment on your videos. My apologies. I have enjoyed them all and even discuss them with one of my fellow stampers. Have a great weekend.
These are great! I'll be making a few tomorrow!! The art glitter glue comes in bundles too. One of the bundles is the large bottle and the small one with the metal tip and stainless steel pin. Amazon and Walmart both carry those. Thank you for the instruction! I can actually follow your videos and recreate things!!
I'm catching up on a Lot of your videos. Learning to make so many beautiful pockets. Double sided tape on some of my older journal pages actually seem to somehow seep through the page and it ends up with a horrible square on your page. Love my stick and in SA I found a glue at a hardware that work beautifully. Thanks again for the way you present your videos. Loving your channel
It may be acidifying as it cures. (Adhesives don’t technically dry, they cure.) archival quality means that it won’t acidify over time. Just because something says acid free, doesn’t mean it will remain that way, especially when exposed to different dyes, mixed media, or adhesives. Art glitter glue is just a thicker, acid free pva glue like Elmer’s glueall. It may have an extra drying agent in it to make it grip so quickly. If you are doing archival quality art, you can search artist websites for ph balanced along with acid free. Another term to look for is buffered. Tape doesn’t always have those qualities, which is why the old photo albums have yellowed and brittle tape, and the nature of wood pulp paper is that it acidifies over time. All that being said, you could simply choose to say that the annoying square was part of the charm of JJ’ing 😂❤ and adds to the “grunge” factor. Best of luck finding what you want! ❤
Thanks so much for the art glitter glue recommendation (which I saw in a different video of yours a couple of weeks ago). I tried it last night in my card making and love the fine point and how well it sticks. NOT a lot of time for wiggle room, though. I had been using Ranger multi medium matte finish. Still will use it, but it's great to have options now.
Very cool ideas, thank you! I'm always a little bit envious of how organized you keep things, so you can find them! Sigh... I just checked my stash of 6x6 paper pads and, dang, most of them are one sided. So I'll need to improvise. And any chance (or did I miss it?) of watching you make a similar journal like the one you showed at the beginning? I know you just have all the time in the world to cater to any request....! I really enjoy watching you create, how your thought process figures things out, thank you.
Yes, I guess that's it. You show it at 10:19 in the video.....really looking forward to that, thank you again! You do such creative work, and you make it so even I can do it....I you encourage us to do it our way, but you teach so well we can follow along, our way. I've learned so much watching you!
That was great Ceri, it gave me some good ideas to work with. I have a question, I. About to make a journal that I want to do some doodling in and maybe the odd page of reverse colouring, what weight paper would you suggest would be the best, it turns out there's a lot more weights than I thought so I thought I'd ask your advise. Thanks again for another great video.
Oh there are so many different papers and I get very confused by them all, but the one thing I’ve learnt is to use the paper that supports the medium you’re working in. As a rule if your paper is thicker then use less pages in a signature, if I’m creating a journal for my art, doodling, watercolour, mixed media for example I just put a random mixed of papers into one signature so that I can play with whatever when I’m in the mood to create.
@@CeriGriffiths thanks for that Ceri, now I have a better idea of where to start, I can't believe how many different types of paper there are, that helps me out a lot now, I'll definitely go for a mix of papers, thanks again.
Like those pockets Ceri, another interesting video. Thanks 😊

Nice pockets. I have the dangles on my glue so I can find the pin again. If I was as neat and organised as you that would be less of a problem.

Great video Ceri. I have some I need to use up and this is perfect timing. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Ceri, pockets are always fun!
Hi Ceri! I just mass made several of the "stack and whack" tags, next comes several of these! Thank you!
I’ve only just heard of stack and whack from Gayle, it’s a cool idea.

I think you’re referring to the large ephemera folder, I never made a video of it but it is on my list of videos to film.
Yes, I guess that's it. You show it at 10:19 in the video.....really looking forward to that, thank you again! You do such creative work, and you make it so even I can do it....I you encourage us to do it our way, but you teach so well we can follow along, our way. I've learned so much watching you!
I stuck a double sided velcro dot on the side of my bottle and I stick my pin there when I'm using my glue that way I don't lose my pin❤
Good idea
💜💜💜
❤❤❤
You could also just glue down 2 sides and make a belly band to slip stuff through between the book page and the pocket.
Absolutely
❤
What are these beautiful pockets/journals used for?
Sorry, but I’ve never heard of this.
You can attach them to a page of a journal then slip journal cards or tags into them to create extra writing space.
That was great Ceri, it gave me some good ideas to work with. I have a question, I. Still thinking on that one.
