Hiking Snowdon via The Watkin Path | A Terrifying Climb & Swimming in Plunge Pools

I did it! It's been my goal for so long and finally I walked up to Snowdon summit. It was an absolutely incredible day. We decided to tackle The Watkin Path, which was one of the tougher routes up to Snowdon and back down the Cambrian Way covering just under 10 miles in just under 7 hours. So proud my dog got to join us on this hike. It was an incredible experience and I can't wait to go back!
I want to be realistic in my videos and I felt it was best to leave in the parts that I struggled the most on where you can quite clearly hear the distress in my voice as well as my heavy breathing! Haha!

@@Roofeh16 lol noo not at all . asmatic. know thy limits ist attempt n vertigo .someties just watching shiey rooftopping or climbing radiomasts ect west of ryd dhu theres a ridge or somethin. alf way along massive overhaning rock in way... n sheer drops one side was nearly a no no way.call d helicopter moment as a teen decades ago chuckle.wanna do snowdon nevis n scarfell at some point..n return t that rock n give it a solid kick from teenage me lol

Thank you! It was really tough for me I have to admit especially for my first time up Snowdon. That scramble at the end was horrendous. Aww awesome! 💙I hope the weather is good to you! You'll love it! I can't wait to go back.

We took the Cambrian route back down which does link back to the Watkin Path. It makes for a nice big loop!
