When you want rice to take in the curry/daal taste after mixing then you use Indrayani rice. It is sticky. When you are making biryani, you use a rice that keeps grains separate after cooking, so Basmati is used for biryani.

The spice from the chicken got to the big man. Spray some lemon juices into the spicy curries to tone down the heat. You will get used to it if you try it a few times. But, the flavours are unbeatable.
