I also have a is300 with ar5 and I got rid of the vibration by going with a 2 peice driveshaft but it does have a little vibration at 105. Some guys got rid of the vibration by using the solstice cv joint that connects to the transmission with success. I'm going to try and rebalance the 2 peice driveshaft with the driftmotion adapter to see if that gets rid of the vibration at 105 but will probably someday update the 2 peice driveshaft with the solstice cv joint to connect to the transmission. Good luck with the vibration it is kind of scary when it does it
@@cyrusmohebi nice, sounds like it should work with the cv joint. On the forward momentum yt channel he did a 2 peice with cv and he is one the guys who said he has no vibration. Looking forward to seeing if the one peice with cv will have no vibration
Why are you surprised of the death wobble when you grinded down the driveshaft adapter? Should have taken it to a lathe and have it precision machined down. It's out of spec no doubt, after you grinded it. You missed a big opportunity for views with that AR-5 swap. It's the technical stuff that most viewers like to see. I understand filming can take time, but at least some cell phone pictures with narration would suffice. We love that stuff. Also, regarding the CR-X, if it's an interference engine that would be a good video to go into detail with on what to look out for when the belt breaks. It may be a sad day for the motor if the valves contact the piston but a good day for your channel. In every tragedy there is room for opportunity. Get a calendar and plan it out over a few episodes. Go through a checklist of things need to be done for it to run. I've subscribed to your Instagram for a while, love your progress and really want to see you succeed in this TH-cam thing. You seem to have some awesome cars that will provide great content. You just need to dedicate yourself more to it. No procrastinating. We already waited too long for an update, won't tolerate anymore 🤣. Turn this thing into a potential income to help fuel your next adventures in life, so we can follow along for the ride. I’ve taken it to a few driveshaft places and they didn’t want to mess with it. I was looking into driveshaft shop CV style 1 piece

Most of my AR5 parts were from drift motion and xcessive mfg
There is also one on ebay that is made by a current/previous is300 owner that put an ar5 in his is300. I'm running the ebay one and bolts up nice
