  • Have you heard of the Tapo brand before? What about TP-Link? Chances are you have heard of the latter. Well, the Tapo line is a new offering from TP-Link for those in the US. Is it worth your time?
    This is a in-depth of the TP-Link Tapo Security Camera Outdoor Wired (C320WS). The C320WS is a wired outdoor security camera in more ways than one. Not only do you have a power cord for zero delay notification but it also has the ability to be wired to Ethernet as well. Don't have ethernet outside? Not to worry there is directional WiFi attendance as well.
    Does this sound like the perfect camera to fit your outdoor needs? Watch and find out.

      Hi, when making voice calls, I have noticed that when I increase the volume of the microphone and speaker on my camera, as well as the speaker volume on my phone to highest , I experience an echo sound and very loud speaker distortion from the camera. However, when I lower the speaker volume on my phone to medium, the distorted sound disappears or is greatly reduced.
      I would like to know if this issue is normal and whether there is a way to eliminate the distorted sound while still maintaining the highest volume on my phone speaker.

    • @Wanderer001_Reviews
      @Wanderer001_Reviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jessietan663 That is a common thing that happens. It is know as a feedback loop. What is happening is the audio from the camera is getting picked up by the mic on your phone and then feeds that audio back through the camera which then is picked up again by your phone. Hence the looping. If you want to avoid this just make sure that the sound on your phone is turned down low enfough that the mic on your phone does not pick up the audio. You can also use headphone or ear buds to help with this issue if you need to have the volume turned up to hear.

    When it comes to cables, you might consider using USB-C power delivery power supply with 9V output and USB-C to DC jack w/ 9V trigger cable. USB-C power bricks using GaN are very small and are more likely, to fit into weatherproof sockets

    I was wanting to get a few cameras to monitor while I was away. Saw some videos including this one and made the decision to buy a couple of these cameras. Install and setup was ok. Viewing on my phone however was not very satisfying. Found how to setup VLC Media Player to display the camera feeds on my big screen TV. Lots easier to see detail on closer up objects but good overall.
    Now I have decided to further my trip down this rabbit hole and add a NVR to connect and record. So far my research has taught me that only the VIGI DVR supports the Tapo cameras and apparently are not available in the US. There might be support using ONVIF protocol but I am having trouble confirming what brand of NVR would work with my 2 current cameras and probably about 4 more cameras.
    I would be glad to hear if someone could lead me in the right direction.

      Not one phone per location but rather one account per location. So all you need is a different email per location. Then you can share the cameras from the other locations to your main account, so the email you plan to keep active one your phone at all times.

    Slight problem with the camera, fog or rain. It seems that misty foggy conditions set just about every detection option off. This was at night in either infra red or using the lights.
