- Curious to see how much a SRT Jeep makes stock?
Check it out, we put a bone stock, non-modified Grand Cherokee 6.4 on our AWD dyno to really bring out the true numbers.

This channel has dyno’ed a 2014 and it made 365Awhp cold (470 crank Hp) and a
2016 made 385Awhp cold (475 crank Hp)
How’s does 5hp crank translate to 20Awhp to the ground
Was one in 4th gear and one in 5th gear

Those 22” velgens negatively effected the power output

@@RIPPMODS rotating mass. Prob not much difference from stock srt 20" to velgen 22" in terms of weight difference at distance from center but it all counts. Guy has a youtube he tested the theory on a mustang where it's a 17lb difference from stock 18" to aftermarket 20". There was a 17hp difference in a 340hp(might be off a little) peak vehicle.
@@speedstreet3024 again, we are demonstrating real world power and how our clients actually drive their vehicles. With 2 more degrees of timing this vehicle will produce 605awd-hp. There about 100hp left in the kit for the client to dial in.

They say this car puts out 475hp why it says here 385hp thank you
475hp is the engine alone on a dyno. After that engine is put in a vehicle and spins a transmission. driveshaft, differential, axles, wheels, etc. these Jeep's put down around 385 wheel horsepower.
Compared to 30%~40% drive train loss from crank to wheel, on the 3.6 V6 and 5.7 V8 you have demonstrated on this channel; the 24% hp loss and 15% torque loss just shows how solid the SRT trim is.
*Edited - on second thought, all version of the WK2 lose about the same 90 HP and 60 Torque due to drive train loss. (Except for the 5.7L, losing about 100 Torque, why is that?)
So if you were to put the jeep RWD, would the horsepower numbers increase? (PS: I know this is a while back 😄)

IK - UA yes, very well. That's the same transmission as the Wranglers and we have 7000 of those worldwide.
