    Hi there! I got a new camera and wanted to test it out at a park near home. I thought why not take my dog witch is a massively cute (father here) to test the camera and capture some nice imagens of Pablo! I just found your channel and I must admit that the way you process your files are very clever, nicely done! I leaned a lot with your channel in the past two days! Congratulations for your beautiful work and thanks for sharing! 😉🐕

I have discovered your channel only recently as Im completely new to photography and Photoshop/LR and all the info and tips you share are super helpful for me. Do you also plan to do more videos on photography itself? How to adjust the settings in different situations, portrait, pics in motion, etc? Thank you, greetings from the Czech republic 💕

    I like a bit of editing. But honestly the before was so much better than the after. It looks like the dad looks more sad just because the surroundings look like a dead forest or something.

  • @Eqkrishena

    Would this also work with making a blue-ish winter scene? So making cooler colors opposed to warmer colors? I have a some winter snowy photos which I would like to learn how to make like a soft dreamy cooler scene but just not 100% sure if it is a similar process just with using different colors. Am I just over complicating this or is it a different process to achieve that type of look?

    • @ThatPhotographySpot
      @ThatPhotographySpot  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would probably do this with solid colour adjustment layers and radials to be honest, but there's always 49473627 ways to do anything in photoshop so just have a play and see where you end up!

      I don't know of a way to get the same result in Lightroom because you can't minutely isolate colours without including adjacent chunks :(

    Hey i hope that you will be able to reply,i would appreciate it so much. I would love to try myself in the photography but i would still like my pictures to look professional. I would take pictures of fast moving objects(my dog that does tricks,MOVES alot,jumps,runs) and i would love to take pictures of her in the motion,but without blurry photos. I would also take pictures of her standing still and portraits. At the end i would do animal photography. So my question is which cameras you would suggest me and which lens that are on budget? I watched alot of videos and i searched,but i still cant find a solid answer of what would be the best.😔

    Does it matter when the stray objects are cloned out? Can they be cloned out after doing the color change? Or maybe I should ask it this way. When is the best time to clone out stray objects? Thanks for another video!!!

    • @ThatPhotographySpot
      @ThatPhotographySpot  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It is much easier to do it BEFORE you convert the layer to a smart object. However, sometimes you spot things later that maybe you missed or whatever - right click on the smart object layer itself and choose “edit contents” - that will open a new file in PS which is literally the image you started with - clone edit clean up as needed and then close that file. Wait a couple of seconds and the smart object in the original file will update and you can continue your edit ☺️

    I tried doing this with a white dog and it turned him purple! Any advice?

    • @ThatPhotographySpot
      @ThatPhotographySpot  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure why this would turn a dog purple unless your Hue/Sat selection range was too wide maybe?

  • @sabi_ne
    @sabi_ne 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great technique 😊👍 so would you usually use a mix of hue/sat and selective color or is it better to just use one of these methods on a picture ?

    • @ThatPhotographySpot
      @ThatPhotographySpot  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I usually do hue sat for major changes and then selective colour to finalise if needed ☺️
