      Just a little tip - it's really no big deal: Maybe you don't have to raise and lower the music volume between your sentences all the time. It's perfectely fine with just background music :)

      @@PAReportage thanks! I think it was kind of an automatic setting that my editing program turned up the volume but I think if you check out my snow video I do didn’t do it again so now it’s the same volume throughout 😊

    I LOVE dogs but have only tried taking photos of them a cpl of times and have no idea how to edit them.
    My Sigma 85 mm F/1.4 helps with the sharpness and bokeh luckily.
    Thanks so much for showing us the edit. Thats so important for us amateurs. We see 100´s of videos and none of them show the editing process.

    What a great video. Thanks for posting. I have really improved in the last few years as a wildlife photographer but I am definitely lacking in my editing skills. I'm looking forward to using this video as a tool to help me manipulate some light in my images. I really like Lightroom and I like that you did everything in it. I have photoshop and I really need to learn my way around in it. Thanks again...

    • @InspawrationPhotography
      @InspawrationPhotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You’re welcome! I’m so glad you found it interesting! Lightroom is a great tool and you can do a heap to manipulate lug by with it! I have a video on Photoshop up so see if that helps you with the basics! Once you’ve got the skills in that video, so much is just variations of that!

  • @toddtucker323

    I just finished this edit. Thanks. I would love to know how you sharpen your images.

    • @InspawrationPhotography
      @InspawrationPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      You got it! I'll put it on my "videos to make" list, although truth be told, I rarely add any extra sharpening! As you see in this video, I add texture and clarity to the face and eyes and that's usually about it.

  • @zuzialemanczyk8676

    This has been very useful, thank you. Would you be able to do one on saving a high exposure picture?

    • @InspawrationPhotography
      @InspawrationPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      I can do one on fixing small blown out spots but if the photo is really overexposed and the data is lost there’s not really a way to save that data 😬

    Absolutely love your work. Border Collies are so intelligent and are great for photo shoots. Can you please tell me what lens you use? Is it the 135mm Sony by any chance?

    • @urquhaja
      @urquhaja ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry just noticed in your lightroom edit it's the Sony FE 85mm F1.8.

    • @InspawrationPhotography

      @@urquhaja Yes I usually use either the Sony 135mm f/1.8 (most often this lens) but sometimes the 85mm f/1.8 ☺

    Any tips on how to manage shadows when you can’t shoot on that golden hour, would a reflector or a diffusor help ? Thanks

    • @InspawrationPhotography
      @InspawrationPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      There’s not really any way to balance shadows in harsh sunlight. It’s never going to be flattering. A diffuser or blocking the sun could help but then you’re going to have a very bright background. Personally I don’t shoot in full sun. Not my style, not pretty, it’s not going to allow me to create my photos. If a client wants photos that look like mine, then we’re not shooting in the middle of the day in the sun

    Love your pics and tutorial. See if you can do something with the music in the background. It is loud one second and then falls off when you speak. The music isn't necessary.

    • @InspawrationPhotography
      @InspawrationPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I had it with "ducking" before but I've stopped doing that since as it went a bit crazy sometimes. I do like some quiet background music though so that will probably stay. Feels a bit empty otherwise.

    • @InspawrationPhotography
      @InspawrationPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      Because I’m outdoors and there’s likely to be trees SOMEWHERE behind my dog’s head… I really don’t care about it as long as it’s far enough in the background that it’s blurry 🤷🏻‍♀️
