      Marie, I've been after dup'ing Niveia. I am so close not funny. Needs to be more pasty.. but as far as what cream feels like. I love it. Saw your video in this store. I told my Pomeranian. She's gonna dup it.

      Hi! Which tier on patreon do I need to buy in order to get the natural foaming hand soap recipe?

    Definitely a great showcase of how to mimic a store bought product. Very clear workflow and great results. Can't wait to make my own.

    Starlight whole sale is a good place to get BBW copies and you can get sample scent cards to smell the scent before you buy

      Hey! I looked up their info after reading your comment and found out they're not too far from me. Do you know if they have in-store shopping as well? Or is it online only? I'd ask them but they're apparently on vacation for a while so the website is shut down

      @@HumblebeeAndMe I am working on learning formulations for scenting via fragrance oils and cold air nebulizers and scents products, foaming soap, foaming hand sanitizer, etc. How did you become so knowledgeable?

    My fav foaming hand soap which I refill cute BBW bottles with is just watered down Castile soap! Like 90/10 mostly water 😊. Add fragrance if needed.
    The foam is excellent and personally it seems my skin does better with actual *soap* vs surfactants.

    Happy Monday Marie. Thank you so much for this formula and all of the others, giving up great gift ideas for Holidays. Seeing how much testing you do before the final formula, I can only have great appreciation for your work. Have a great day!

    Special addition to my favorite bodycare instructors 👐🏾. I have most of my ingredients to make the peppermint Body spray. However, I had a tough time choosing the silk powder. I went back and click on US and it took me right to Amazon. I am placing my order today.
    I would like to know how to tell you about the outcome. Also want to ask if you offer consultation for special projects.
    Thank for sharing!

    this recipe is great ! Although when I tried to make a big giant batch of it at a time it didn't work as well, it didn't all dissolve over night. :(

      The bigger the batch, the longer it'll take to dissolve :) I'd give it more time, it should work out just fine ❤️ Thanks for DIYing with me, and happy making :)

    I just threw together some heavy duty hand cream between shifts yesterday and used hydrogenated castor oil in hopes it would give it a eucerin-like feel. I was wondering if you had any videos using peg-40, since the smallest tub I could find is still pretty big....and voila!

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  ปีที่แล้ว

      Happy to help! 😄 You can also look up PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil in the free Humblebee & Me DIY Encyclopedia (www.humblebeeandme.com/diy-encyclopedia/) for a list of even more formulations I've made with it 😊 Happy making!

    Thank you for the amazing video. I watched it more than 5 times!! :). I did one using your formula except for the preservative, I used Mild Preserved Eco. My foam has pH6, is it okay for cleansing? I am not sure if pH for cleansing should be.

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching!
      You'll generally need to shop online for these sorts of ingredients :) I always link to places to purchase all the ingredients for my formulations in the free partner blog post, which is linked in the description box below all my videos ❤️
      I also have a giant page of places to shop all over the world, which you can find here: www.humblebeeandme.com/resources/.
      That page doesn't have every country in the world, but it does contain all the online stores I know about. If your country isn't listed, that's because I don't know about any online stores in your country. You could try looking for a local Facebook group for people who like making soap & other cosmetics-they may be able to recommend places to shop.
      Happy making!

    Marie, have you ever duped Fresh Rose Floral Toner? I've been looking through your videos, but I haven't found it. That doesn't mean that you haven't, though.

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't set out to dupe that one in particular, but the ingredient list isn't too far off from this: www.humblebeeandme.com/strawberry-rose-toning-facial-mist/. Mine is a bit more complex, but both are basically a blend of hydrosols with added humectants and a preservative :)

      @Humblebee & Me thank you very much. I was looking into your blog for subs for the pentylene glycol. It's a pretty simple formulation but I get nervous when it comes to making skin care for myself. Thank you for the link. I just watched that the other day and was going to use that as a starting point instead of coming up with my own from scratch. Thank you for all of the wonderful information that you put out for us. I so want to join your patreon!

      For my book; I don't sell it or control its sales in any way. Have you tried asking a local book shop if they can special order it for you? ❤️

  • @lmd2454
    @lmd2454 ปีที่แล้ว

    Can you please define natural? I'd love to learn more! I'm learning that you can't determine whether something is natural or not, just by how hard the name is to pronounce lol! But all those "chemically" sounding names confuse me. I want to make products that are completely natural, to the point that the individual ingredients are safe to eat (even if they aren't palatable lol). But I'm finding that really limits my options and makes it hard to get products that work right.

    dupe /doo͞p, dyoo͞p/
    noun
    A person who is easily deceived or is used to carry out the designs of another.
    A person who is deceived; one who is led astray by false representations or conceptions; a victim of credulity: as, the dupe of a designing rogue; he is a dupe to his imagination.
    One who has been deceived or who is easily deceived; a gull.
    "the dupe of a schemer"
    Dupe does not mean a duplicate!
