  • In this video i show you how to replace the front struts on a s197 mustang. this is a quick and easy video that anyone can do in their own driveway. very little tools are required. this is a very overlooked job but it really makes a difference in how our cars drive.     Thanks for the video. After watching it, I bought new struts for my S197 and had them changed in 2 hours! Turns out my Mustang still had the original struts from the factory. Liked and subscribed!

      It really is a easy job the only part that can be tricky is when putting it back in. It may want to fight you to line up. My advice have someone help you for two seconds, so they can screw the nuts on as you focus all attention on sticking it up threw there. Good luck let me know how it goes! Thanks for watching!

    Thank you so much! I’ve been watching a chris fix video changing struts on a mazda but the struts were not fixed on the car the same way as they are on a mustang. And each of your steps in this video were really well explained btw. Keep up the good work!

    Does it matter what size tires you have on your mustang, I have 18's and have seen some ads for struts that are for specific sizes

    Is the GT struts the same as the V6 for 05-09?
