    Absolutely love your videos!! Like how you go over the builds and then the follow up with the rigs wheeling and driving. Always look forward to them !! I’m not a rock crawler but I use my Jeep specifically as a rig to get onto the strip mines up here in Wv. It’s basically a rig setup for long range rifle shooting. It has to be able to take on all of the wheeler and side by side trails so it can’t be to big of a rig. Still building on it, I hope to get a stronger D44 put up front with a locker along with a winch that won’t fail. After this it’ll be the perfect long range shooting vehicle for my needs. Trying to find a shop that does good axle and gear work. Much appreciated !

    Exactly the type of build I am doing on my JKU, GRAVITON. Only thing different will be the sliders, mine are old lazy man Rock Slide Engineering "steps". Not a fan of the narrow rear with spacers. Agree track width should be same as front...however, I am going to use tube and axle length instead of spacers. Kudos, strong build.

    At some point does a frame wrap start becoming a thing? Just wondering, new to Jeep’s

    • @rockyour4x4
      @rockyour4x4  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Warp? If that’s what you meant then I would say that would be a concern on pre-87 Jeep frames

    Get rid of that PSC clamp. It’s single shear and the weld has poor penetration. Terrible design.

    • @rockyour4x4
      @rockyour4x4  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sure he will if he ever has a failure with it. So far is going strong.

      @@rockyour4x4 mine failed in moab at easter and psc warrantied it, they were setup over at dixie and then again on the rubicon and that turned into a self rescue. Finally had WFO get me squared away with some new tie rods and reversed the piston so now it pushes from the axle and it's the axle and it's double shear welded to the passenger tie rod, it's a really solid setup now. The rust in the bubbly psc welds was fun to show the owners at PSC, he was pissed and mother F'd his production staff but did nothing more than swap me out.
