It’d be RAD if at the end of the mission it did a full replay of the entire operation in real-time, just to see all the action without all the breaks.

I armed everyone with MP5s purely because the title was "Embassy Siege."
It's also a good weapon for crowded ops, when 5.56 can simply kill civilian BEHIND the enemy, due to it's pen potential.
@@tieroneoperator635Agreed, you just have to keep an eye on they're ammo count. They can burn through their magazines rather quickly.

So, after playing this game for a few hours yesterday, I discovered that your voice lives in my head now. I could hear what you might have said in the situations I was in, and I actually have been doing pretty well! Gotten a few 3 star clears so far. Loving the game.

As for the danger of the sniper shooting towards what "may" be the principal in another room: your entire assault is throwing sost bullets his way! Nature of the beast. Also, an OTM sniper bullet probably wont over penetrate, but could be deflected by the window. Sooo realism isnt the goal in this game, just bang on.

If the game went for realism, first person to enter the small room on the right with a window and see 2 or 3 bodies inside would double back ASAP.
This vid was great!! One mechanic that would be cool to see is an ability to watch the game unfold in real-time after a successful round! Would be great to see what your troops would look like under your command without the pauses

I've been playing random missions deploying operators in reverse list order so that everyone gets to max out their stats.
Ahhh. Privates.
Sick clearance. I went for bold at the beginning. Compromised immediately, one investigated, through the open beach I could see the hallway was blocked. Had a MK48 own the murder hole, rifle covering bathroom, while both teams flowed into the side rooms.
I took that center courtyard almost identically. You can put slap charges on windows. That's what I did to get all three shooters in on that fight.
I usually take MGs with me. I like to role-play an organic fire team. Open bolts are decently effective at medium-long range. And I think they do better in target rich environments than marksman. Just don't have them do the "Fili-maneuver." Contrary to my machine gunners' belief, civilians and hostages don't count towards your kill count.
I need you to know that this is the sincerest like i've given any comment. This is the second comment in this video that had me in stitches. :D

I really would like to see the siege replayed like a cinematic if thats possible. I mean the actual 7 minutes 53 seconds passing without any planing but anyways great video, really enjoyed it.

The M4 is probably the most balanced gun in Doorkickers as it can handle a lot of different environments. I do not blame you for not upgrading as everything else can be... finicky (Mk 17 has a limited ammo capacity and Mk18 is really bad at long ranges)

Kinda funny you were saying "i wish there was a way to tell these hostages to get out of here" while there was a big "exit" order on the same menu as the wait orders you used.
This was the first level that gave me a lot of trouble getting 3 stars on. Could not find the balance of being fast enough to keep the hostages safe and slow enough to keep the rangers safe. The map was a little different then and you couldn't really clear the south side of the front half as effecrively. I think the main issue was that i had convinced myself the hostages would be executed pretty quickly after i was detected so it was all suppressed SMGs and that always fell apart with the back half of the building and the weapon disadvantage at the longer ranges. I think I eventually made it work with half SMGs and half m4s who were limited to holding security on close angles with suppressed m9s until we got compromised.
Been smashing through doorkickers 1 on mobile since watching these. Seems more clunky but these tactics have helped get though it so much quicker.

Except for earlier today when an inconvenient civilian got in the way of one of my assaulters so bro just shot straight through him to drop the insurgent. Not the team's finest moment!

It was funny AGAIN when you messed up at the last room calling bravo first then alpha, meaning your bottom door charge didn't blow before your bang when out again xD really loved the video though, clean run through the embassy lol

I think Peanut was having an awful time shooting due to the lack of a long range optic. It sounds silly but I think that's how the game works.
I'm sure the fact that he was injured didn't help either. Who knows, maybe he got shot in the shoulder!

Game takes many things into account: Marksmanship statistic, assault shooting statistics, optics, weapon, range and finally trooper's experience
^ That. Each of the weapons are balanced around the stats you see on the bottom right with the skill of the user boosting them. The M4 is a great general purpose gun, obviously, but it's not quite as good for long range takedowns as the M16 or the MK17. Pretty sure Peanut hit the guy a couple times, but when the crit range drops, sometimes it takes four or five shots to take a grunt down.

amazing video! one thought to share is that at 26:51, my idea would be having the pink guy look at the big room door(south), having the blue guy look at the small room door(west), so the blue guy face less risk of a surprise from that small room
Dude you are a true entertainer, like not only is your content super nich but it should be super boring I mean watching someone slowly and methodically move pieces in a board should be the most boring thing ever to watch and you manage to keep a whole bunch of people watching for an hour and even more if you get drawn to watch the next vid and then the next, you my dood are amazing.
It would be interesting if the devs added enemy snipers to the game or maybe a mode where you played on defense
A defense mode is a great idea.
The fact that this video is 51 minutes long for a total action time of around 7 minutes and 50 seconds really goes to show how much planning goes into these kinds of assaults, as well as the speed of these operators judgement and reaction, in a split second these people make decisions that take 10 to 90 seconds to work out. Great job on this video and just a word of appreciation to anyone that has experience with these situations, be it hostage or operator and be it now, in the past or in the future, it is hard to imagine for us normal peeps and gamers to imagine what really goes through your minds, games are simplified even if immersive and even pairs vids are not the real thing, keep up the great work!

Played the first one ages ago, the sequel seems much more polished and the planning more forgiving about adjusting previous steps. I played it exclusively "Plan once, click play, watch" and had a blast. Will definitely pick this one up!

Idk why, but the scenario where soldiers have to do something like defend or take back an Embassy in a video game seems so appealing to me.
26:19 Correct me if I’m wrong, but it looked like you had the door charge to go on B(ravo) and the flashbang to be thrown on A(lpha). But then to enter you triggered the commands alphabetically - hence blinding and stunning your team and 2 (undoubtedly very confused) hostages, and only then triggering the charge to blow the door.
I think the biggest take away is to assign ‘go’ codes alphabetically, thereby removing the need to remember (and reducing the likelihood of forgetting) the order of initiation. And hopefully minimising future errors.
FWIW, it was a rare error and one (of many) reasons why I enjoy ur videos so much. Thanks!

19:46 yeah, first time I played this mission, I just yoloed it by breaching the walls on either side of that main hallway - splattering 2 of those hostages into mist so fine I didn't even realize I killed them until after I went through the rest of the map pretty smoothly and got a 1 star rating anyway.

A cool feature for this game would be a real time play back feature. So basically after you complete a mission, you can hit the play back button, and it shows all the moves you made with no pausing, its all fluid and consecutive.
That would be really cool
I think the slap charges reset as soon as you plot a path through that door. So in order for it to work, you have to re-assign the go-code to the charge after you're done with planning the paths of your operators. It's sadly not very intuitive rn. I hope they introduce some sort of fix to this.
