Thank you you've helped me make up my mind I have the roscoe 7 on pre-order I was so close to canceling to get the marlin 7 as I commute more than trails but I love the teal roscoe 7 and the specs. Thank you I have been searching for a video that will convince me that it's better than other bikes.

I've rode a Marlin 5 for the past two years. I'm upgrading to the Roscoe 8 as soon as my order comes in.
I bought a marlin 8 but when i realized you cannot install a dropper internally! From watching another you tube channel. So i returned it and decided on fuel ex5 because of your video. Thanks!

Yeah, for me I had to make the same decision. They had a Marlin 7 and a Roscoe 6 2022 in the shop sitting beside each other...
I decided on the Roscoe 6. (Wasn’t really a tough decision) Marlin was too XC ish for what I wanted. Roscoe is a mid-fat beast of a bike. 10 speed is all I need, the bike climbs really well. It wants to pull up on the front end more than what I’d like on the tech climbs on the singletrack, have to adjust body position to clear the climb. Tires work well but not in wet conditions. Dropper is great, works the way it should every time. I can never say enough good things about the Deore drivetrain. I love the Deore. Has a clutch too! The Roscoe is just better for trail use in my opinion. Would likely make a great commuter bike as well. If you plan to hit trails a lot then Roscoe is the one. Only thing I would recommend is to go with the Roscoe 7 instead if you can.

My problem is the Roscoe 7 price point is where you should be questioning your closer to a full squishy.

Hello. Can you help me? I have Trek Marlin 5. What will be better if I upgrade Marlin. I will install on it a Rockshox Recon 130 mm, 11 speed Deore, 35 mm stem. Or is it better to sell it and buy Roscoe?
If I do upgrade, how much different will it feel to riding the Roscoe? It may be much more comfortable there due to the geometry of the frame.

Hey Chris as short as you can, what's your opinion of marlin 6 vs roscoe 6? Also is there a price difference from 2021 Roscoe 6 and the 2022 Roscoe 6? If you guys have a Roscoe 6 at the shop I'm gonna have to choose between my new arrival marlin 6 and a Roscoe 6 because I'm on the edge.
Trail wise the Roscoe is much better tires and suspension make up most of the difference
Hey Matthew: I have a 2021 Roscoe 6 and LOVE it! When I ordered mine (09/20) it was the only Roscoe available without waiting a year plus. As it was, I still had to wait 4 months to get it and I’m really glad I got the 6!! I have since updated EVERY component and made it the BEST Roscoe ever.. I recently upgraded to SRAM GX AXS and AXS Reverb.. This Roscoe 6 is a monster and is an unbelievable ride! I would go for the Roscoe 6 hands down.. Good Luck and make it your OWN.. 🇺🇸

@@juliensuarezjs hey it sounds like you’d be better suited to a Marlin. If you’re riding mostly road, I would stick to a Marlin. If you’re riding is trail heavy, that’s where the Roscoe shines! In saying that, you could always switch out the tires on the Roscoe and make it more road worthy.
@@juliensuarezjs Je fais beaucoup de vélo de la route au début du sentier et c'est une joie absolue. Il suffit de surveiller la pression de vos pneus et tout ira bien ! J'ai fait une mise à niveau complète de mon Roscoe et je viens de commander l'ensemble de roues en carbone Bontrager Kovee 23 afin de pouvoir utiliser des pneus plus étroits pour les jours où je veux juste rouler sur le trottoir. Mais mon jeu de roues Bontrager LineComp 40 avec 27,5x2.8 est ma configuration actuelle. Bonne chance et continuez à pédaler 🇺🇸
I’m a new to mountain biking I’m deciding between roscoe 7 and marlin 8. I also would like a bike that I can use for commuting, pavement but also can handle the trails. What do you recommend?
Roscoe will do the trails way better but Marlin would be better at commuting but I'd take the Roscoe

The Roscoe 7 should be a great trail bike. Unfortunately, they won't be available until August 2022 at the earliest.

if you going to buy a trek roscoe 7 you might as well buy a full squish
