Thank you so much for your kind words, we are so happy we are able to help you and so many people in future too! Thank you for watching and for all your support🥰
Thanks you so much for sharing this valuable information! I’m starting in this field and your video gave me a great direction on what things I need to focus on.
thank you for finding time and share these invaluable knowledge. as someone who is contemplating of shifting to freelance medical writing (from being a certified medical coder/pharmacist in my home country), this helps a lot!
Hi Virginia and Hass Thanks to bring up this topic 😊. I have 2 questions to ask to you guys 1. How to find clients on social media platform ? 2. How to fix rates for the projects ? ( I'm from India and here most people pay in peanuts, so yeah thats something Im concerned about)
Thank you for these great questions! We recommend you send messages to clients on social media directly and build a relationship with them. For the price of projects, speak to other writers in the community to see what they charge for their experience level, as the price can vary a lot.
This interest me. Question1 .do you need a certificate and cost? Question2 -I am medical coder now but medical terms and HC process interest me. Do I need to do research on differ topics before write a article? question 3. What is the salary ?
Thank you for your questions :) 1. You do not need a certificate, but we recommend taking courses to help you learn from experts. 2. As a medical coder, you can write about health technology, or digital health, these are popular topics right now in healthcare. 3. The salary can vary depending on your clients, location and experience. We recommend a minimum of £30k per year for entry level writers, and over 100k for the most experienced writers after 5 to 10 years in the industry.

Hi there, I am 4th year MPharm student. Hass mentioned that he used MPharm assignments in his early portfolio. Assignments such as systematic reviews currently take me days to complete. In general, would you be expected to complete these longer forms of writing within a shorter period of time? With experience, do you get a lot faster?
Congratulations on starting your 4th year as an MPharm student!! With a systematic review, you will work on it for longer than a few days with a client or the person who employs you as a medical writer (sometimes a few weeks or months). So you will not be expected to complete projects in a shorter period of time, it depends on the complexity of the project and how many people are on your team. You will get faster, with experience, at writing high quality content and completing assignments such as a systematic review, and this will make you more valuable as a medical writer (so you can charge more per hour or get promoted). Your MPharm assignments in your portfolio are great to include in your portfolio, and in future when you work with clients you should ask if you can include a few sentences or a page of work from the content you write for them in your future portfolio. Thank you for your question and we hope this helps you ☺ - Virginia
