i remember watching a video around when Definitive Edition first launched, apparently Young Link can grind an astronomical number of levels in one mission thanks to his ability to more or less indefinitely remain in focus spirit and thus exploit the EXP+ bonus from it a lot more
On Wii U i used to get a lvl 1 Young Link to really high up levels with the Boss Mode, i don't know if that mode is on the 3ds or Switch but it was a mode similar to the mission shown in video but it was quite longer and you fought a lot of bosses which gave out high amount of experience. Only really usable with Young Link since being in permanent Magic mode allowed you to basically be inmortal.
Make sure to get your characters to level 60+ and have at least their 3rd tier weapon (3* or higher) before grinding, otherwise you'd be leveling about 6 times per match at levels below 60, which is a huge waste of time. If you want to make _everyone_ level 60 as fast as possible, use the training dojo. It takes about 450k rupees to level them up from 1 to 60 (at this point, most of your characters should be level 20, so it's gonna cost like 300k in practice). Instead of dying at the end to conserve your EXP Accelerator and materials (repeatedly wasting it on apothecary), just beat it without any EXP potion buffs. Simple as that. I _highly-highly_ recommend using a weapon that has Rupees+, Stars+ and Slots+ to maximize your benefits. You should be getting 12k+ each round from pure KOs. In addition, dropped weapons also sell for a lot. If you get tier 3 weapons with several skills filled in, they should sell for 10k+ each. You're going to be getting at least 5 weapons each round, so hypothetically, you'll be getting a minimum of 50k each (even if you don't have many tier 3 weapons unlocked, you should be getting around 2 or 3, plus the other weapons, which adds up to about 50k in practice). For a person that has a lot of higher tier weapons unlocked, they'll be getting about 80k+ per round from selling weapons. This doesn't take into account the Rupee gain apothecary buff, which I think should get you like 50k rupees each round. Use these rupees to level up characters you've been avoiding like the plague.

another helpful hint, you can equip glass cannon on your fairy so you can easily let the enemies kill you when the time gets low. i do this on divisive missions so i use less silver parts per run. helps when your character is either too high levelled or has too many hearts since even a moblin can one shot you
This video kind of makes me realise how pointless hitting max level is :( youre not dealing very much damage considering youre like 5 times the level this map is supposd to be fought at

@@fimble_wimble since medli is a light character id say the divisive battle missions will be better if you're doing divisive cia/yuga on lorule if you havent unlocked either of those maps then do the master quest map, just know you'll have a bit of a tough time taking down the large bosses that get summoned during the fight
@@lpfan4491 yeah, that's true. But not all characters can do it very effectively. Some characters are made for one on ones, and lack either range or area of effect attacks that makes wracking up KOs harder to do in a specific time frame.
thiae are vers few and far between honestly. most of the characters have better tools against groops than against singular enemies. even tetra can get similar kocounts to other characters
I use ko Completion level 9 termina map square b3 because more enemys spawn faster I use it for exp grinding with exp accelerator with weapon slot exp+ if dont have enough materials if u have exp master + fairy skill
staying magic mode on those maps literally boosts everything from drop rates to exp. It's not really smart to take every magic pot when you see them over when you're about to run out. This also allows more combos over the time because of being in that mode. You can technically end up the entire match in that stance which means killing a lot more big bosses and enemy characters.

It's a level 4+ weapon. Every weapon has one and it comes with another elemental damage type, as well as the highest attack values. You unlock them in the later adventure maps, IIRC they're marked with a star.
^^^^^^^ Also, if you want to use the materials, you can make this a tad easier by using the apothecary to level up your bow for the entire length of the mission, as the arrows fan out, making it easier to hit multiple targets

The stage he points out IS great for grinding fast - BUT the grinding also gets old very fast. It’s far better to just stick with always using the same hero with an EXP+ weapon then just focus on the Adventure Mode maps. You’ll EASILY reach max level with at least one hero(or even a few) before getting 100% on them all. Link with Epona and EXP+ is a perfect combo because she runs the fastest, making traveling and timed challenges very easy.
Correct you are, my good sir. Right behind where you spawn a Magic Jar Transport will spawn, giving you full magic to start off the entire mission with. You can then stay in FD mode indefinitely. Most of my missions here result in getting around 3.6k K.O.'s entirely as FD, which is great considering Young Link might be the only character to have 3 EXP boosts active for the whole mission.
find a fairy in a jar in adventure mode maps marked with a fairy symbol to easily spot them cycle between what you see on the map with the x button. To get the ability you need to get food for the fairy and level its stats up to unlock it.
This is very good for grinding im went from 100 to 190 in less than a day only issue is doing it for every charater from 100 to 190 its 11million rupees that's not even max level I can grind rupees easy but probably 20mill per character is a bit much Edit 4 hours later I just reached 255 with link this method is amazing

@@lexidemun I realized that (Not 100%) you're only allowed to train Link up to level 99. The rest of his levels has to be obtained by legitimate means. Whatever Level link is. Is the level cap for every other playable character up to 255.. At least that is what I gathered from my experience with the game.
Yea, you can't use rupees to level anyone up any higher than your highest character. That makes me sad, though, bc 225 is a ridiculous level cap I was hoping they changed it
@@lexidemun Link is Maxed out at level 255. Most of my characters are at level 100. The grind getting link to Max level and casually playing all the maps for Hearts and weapon drops is what made me feel the burn a bit. I'll say this. I found this video 8 months ago. But I couldn't get to it. As I needed items and had to use specific Warriors to fight certain levels in order to collect those items. . If you have not gotten to this area to grind levels I'd suggest you to just casually play for a while. If you see an area that you have to beat that requires a specific character. Prioritize that character. And give it a go.

I personally prefer the divisive plan missions to level up some of my characters. Specifically for characters that can’t get as many ko’s as others.
Which one would you recommend for someone like Medli?

Any tips for the “Don’t get hit” levels on the master quest maps? They give me the most trouble out of any, so help would be appreciated.
Just run around looking for targets, lock on and use the bow. That'll get you through all of them

I have a better spot. In the termina map to the middle right square of the Moon is a really good place to grind out EXP

To remove the character limit you just need to achieve an A rank with either character and you should be good.

You simply kill enemies! Every enemy you kill except for maybe the Deku Babas will give you experience.
