Some of you have asked about the opacity of the custom brush. I can't relpy to one comment it won't let me so I am commenting here. Just do a threshold technique in Photoshop (Image>Adjustments>Threshold) before defining the custom brush. I add this step in the updated version of my tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/aINUDKqXpYw/w-d-xo.html
thanks yu so much, this tutorial makes me no.1 on my class, and those who are disrespect me before they are respecting me now....looks for another best creativity....thanks!!!
Do you know why when I use the custom brushes sometimes it dosnt fill compleatly and I have to click several times so as it fills? As if the flow was set to 30% but it isn't . Cheers
Hey! I have a question for you. I was trying to make the mask effect ( as you did on the last part) with the diagonal lines, and it wasn't doing the same mask clipping effect as you were having on the video ( I've just got regular black lines on top of the "Tampa" display) Do you think it has to do with me having CS4 instead of a newer version? I'll appreciate a prompt answer. Thank you :)
Im at the end but when i apply the paint brush its like the opacity is very low. When i went to check the hardness it does not allow me to change it it. please help!
How do I create a layer masked in elements 8? There doesn't appear to be a mask layer button in the Layers pallet and if I click on the create a clipping mask in the upper tool bar the picture I want to work on disapears. Thank you in advance.
After i Rasterized the brush doesn't work as clearly as in the video. I have to press left click a couple of times before it completely cuts through the white..and then it also causes grey lines to appear giving away the photo beneath?
hey try adding a Threshold effect first before converting it to a brush. That way, it's a very solid brush (Image>Adjustments>Threshold effect). The brush will be more solid and not transparent.
Kahl_BB Hello, I have an updated tutorial on this same effect on my channel where I include the extra step: Go to Image>Adjustments>Threshold and make it a darker tone, then it won't look partially transparent.
+The Kiddo Hi, he is creating a Clipping Mask. Try this, make sure the image layer is above the text layer and that the image layer is selected. Now go to the Layer menu and click Create Clipping Mask. That's the same thing, just without using keyboard shortcuts.
Not sure if troll or just stupid.. but I don't mind helping. You have to extract that zip file (Right click and extract here) and then open all those photos you get in the folder with photoshop.
He did explain it.. Select the splash with the marquee tool (It must have a white background, that's important) than click on edit and select 'Define brush preset', name it and click OK. To select it, Right click anywhere on the picture you have on photoshop, scroll down to the bottom where you can select your brush type (This thing right here, gyazo.com/bd24282e90ecc1f3e48ba9a983a6ffc0 ), go to the bottom and select the splash.. Hope I helped :D
