    Can you do a video about bodyweight arm exercises?

    • @FacePullTiToX
      @FacePullTiToX 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Champ. The best 2 BASIC bodyweight exercises to hit the biceps are the chin-up with arms in front of you AND inverted rows with a supinated grip. For triceps, straight bar dips and triceps extensions on rings are exceptional. Additionally, any push-up you do will smoke the triceps for sure. And if you still want to add more specific work to your biceps, do eccentric pelican curls. Soreness in your biceps will be redefined after that finisher. I hope this helps and let the arm gains begin 💪

      Gonna have to agree with ScycoSnake, hammer curls are a must for mass, bicep length, and forearms. I find them much better than regular dumbbell curls or supinating dumbbell curls. As for tricep overhead extensions, they put your shoulders in an awkward position and are definitely not ideal. I'd skip those and just do skull crushers.

      You don't need a dozen of exercises for the same muscles, unless you want to stay all day in the gym and end over-trained with a number of problems. You just need to pick the best 2 or 3 of them for each muscle and do them properly. Less is more. I personally just do 2 for biceps + brachialis and 2 for triceps and I'm happy with the (growing) results. The key is what you'll choose to do, when, and how.

    With the chin up, am I able to use the neutral bar pull up and get the same results?

    • @FacePullTiToX
      @FacePullTiToX 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The neutral grip will allow the primary movers of the pull up to contribute more evenly during the exercise. In other words, there's no emphasis on a given muscle (biceps brachii with a supinated grip and the brachioradialis with a pronated grip). Pick one grip and progress it throughout a mesocycle. if you can't add external loads, an easy way to ensure progressive overload from training block to block would be to start with the easiest variant (neutral), then use the chin-up (supinated) and finally the hardest, the regular pull up (pronated). I hope this helps. Keep it up, Roger 💪

    Weighted chin ups, weighted dips, close grip bench press + barbell curls, hammer curls and lying tricep extension. All you need for bigger arms. For forearms just stop using straps and they will grow. Farmer walk will also build those forearms.

    You shouldn't be recommending heavy-weight straight barbell curls, they wreak havoc on your elbows - EZ bar curls are much better to prevent overloading and spraining your elbows.

    Iv trained for 50yrs and rarely do my biceps. Triseps yes forearms yes. I find with most of the general lifting your videos reap the rewards. Change your training regime regularly and it won't be long before you see the changes

    Ok but I can only do about 3 of these since the gym is closed and I only have dumb bells 20s and 10s. How about you include sets and reps as well beginner and advanced

      I'm going through the same problem. I have i crease my sets my 1 or 2 to increase the volume. Its not efficient. But w no other option option, its the best for us.
