If you moved to PH, you would gain a whole new family, I guarantee it! You have a special talent that most foreign vlogers in PH doesn't have, including these guys with 100-500k subs. I watch them because of the awesome places they travel too, but there vlogs are a hit and a miss when it comes to adding personality and that extra touch that makes a viewer watch a vlog more than once. Well, at least you know this is an option. :)

This video is stunning! Yup, I am from the Philippines and I am always riding my motorcycle uphill to see beautiful mountains , lakes and forest to smell the fresh air you need to relieve the stress out from your daily job.
I am curious about Port Barton. I know you wont hear them much from other TH-cam Traveler that covers the Philippines but based on the footage it looks cool. I also haven't heard of Sipalay but it really looks beautiful and the laidback vibe is definitely a big deal.
huge help in deciding which next island to visit to... i strongly suggest that you give a chance to visit the Province of Quirino on your next adventure to Ph.
well, balabac would be more expensive... if you make it south, you may want to check out Brooke's Point. Its none touristic.... and nobody really talks about its beach... its grey sands, but its a very long stretch. Port Barton is cheaper, but the town itself is not the main attraction, you'd have to go on some boat tour.
Balabac and Port Barton are like apples and oranges.... if you want to make great vlog content, the BALABAC wins.... I have been everywhere in Palawan. But I didnt make to Balabac, it can be a bit costly base on what I read online. Port Barton, the beach is actually super boring. The attraction may be the island hopping and the package tours... the beach in itself is not an attraction, unless you only went there to get drunk and meet foreigners.
You miss Cebu ! one of the interesting spot from North in Bantayan Island down to South to Oslob & Malboal + Kawasan Falls ..... guess you have not visited this places yet

Our country is blessed by resources,hospitable people & nice weather. I recommend my favorite spots-Bulalacao in Occidental Mindoro because if its island trips & good food; Pandin Lake-Laguna for relaxing outdoor fun; Ilocos Region for its rich history. Sagada Mountains for its coffee and thrilling cave adventure. Sugar Beach in Sipalay, Negros has the softest sand under your toes. Proud to be the First Filipina Solo Traveler there on the year 2017. :)
Wow Gretl! You absolutely have an uncanny ability to showcase the Philippines and its gems. You certainly found them and absolutely nailed it. After only five visits you certainly did it right and it the nail on the head with your top 10. You skills in story telling are unmatched with your relaxed and warm vibe would make anyone want to visit or stay in the Philippines. Its clear you put a lot of thought and effort into your travels. Even more so, your drone cinematography is on point as well. Excellent video. I have personally been to 8 of the 10 locations you have been to and I agree those should be on the list. I recommend going to Catandayagan Falls in Ticao Island, Masbate. It is one of the only 25 waterfalls in the world that flow directly to the ocean. It is not advisable to go there in the summer because there isn’t much water flowing down the waterfall, plus there are shark sightings because, again, it’s the ocean. Going there around December or during the wet season is more preferable. I also recommend Burubancaso Rock Formation which is only a few minutes boat ride from Catandayagan Falls. I also recommend Halea Nature Park in Ticao Island, Masbate. When we went to Catandayagan and Burubancaso, we were the only ones there! Masbate isn’t really a touristy spot. It’s a hidden treasure! And do note that Masbateños like to stare, especially because not a lot of foreigners go to Masbate. :)))
We live near Dumaguete, just across from Siquijor! I was happy to see you put Siquijor on your list! Our friends told us we need to visit the same hotel you stayed in on Sugar Beach. Batanes is quite unique cos of its houses made of stone but recently a few houses crumbled due to an earthquake last July. I hope everyone that visits this amazing place and loves it so much gives something back to help it get back on its feet. wonderful choices for top 10 for a guide away from the crowds. mabuhay ka!
I Recommend BALABAC The Last Frontier of PALAWAN "The Maldives Of the Philippines" ONOK island in BALABAC" and The "BORA BORA of the Philippines "TAYTAY island in Palawan"! And Also Mansalangan Sandbar in BALABAC.
It is very sad and ignoramus of Filipinos to keep calling some of their islands as The Maldives of the Philippines. So many other places in the Philippines claims to be the Maldives of this country. How sad. You make the Philippines sound cheap and Philipinos ignorant. MALDIVES is a nation state and an archipelago studded with 7 star resorts. Maldives has a CULTURE and it is a country known to the elite of the world. Balabac is not even known in Palawan. I have been everywhere in Palawan. But Balabac is so over priced. Because some vloggers were paid to promote the myth. Brooke's Point is more interesting. Quezon is more interesting, and CUYO island is so much better.
No no no. Stop calling it as maldives or bora bora of philippines. Because for me, its much better. The only thing i like in Maldives and Bora Bora is their resorts but the islands there are so many of it in SEA countries.
@@aponiviblair6638 name one island in the Philippines has the same color of the sea as Boracay? The closest must be Panglao, but that island is more about RESORTS than Boracay is. Because would still be pretty even if it has none of those luxury hotels, that are better off, plucked out like weeds to a garden.

Also be informed other provinces in the Philippines used that tittle to promote some tourist attraction. And Taytay is not an island. I visited Taytay and Rio Tuba, but I didn't get to Balabac, I heard there are too many Entrance fees.

Yes theres a lot more to discover in Philippines. You don’t need to go in a busy tourist spot . The more beautiful is still undiscover and untouche.
I had to choose balabac palawan over port barton on my trip next month but definitely port barton is next
well, balabac would be more expensive... if you make it south, you may want to check out Brooke's Point. Its none touristic.... and nobody really talks about its beach... its grey sands, but its a very long stretch. Port Barton is cheaper, but the town itself is not the main attraction, you'd have to go on some boat tour.
Balabac and Port Barton are like apples and oranges.... if you want to make great vlog content, the BALABAC wins.... I have been everywhere in Palawan. But I didnt make to Balabac, it can be a bit costly base on what I read online. Port Barton, the beach is actually super boring. The attraction may be the island hopping and the package tours... the beach in itself is not an attraction, unless you only went there to get drunk and meet foreigners.
You go to this places to relax not to party.....that’s why it’s boring for people who loves To party.

You miss Cebu ! one of the interesting spot from North in Bantayan Island down to South to Oslob & Malboal + Kawasan Falls ..... guess you have not visited this places yet

Our country is blessed by resources,hospitable people & nice weather. I recommend my favorite spots-Bulalacao in Occidental Mindoro because if its island trips & good food; Pandin Lake-Laguna for relaxing outdoor fun; Ilocos Region for its rich history. Sagada Mountains for its coffee and thrilling cave adventure. Sugar Beach in Sipalay, Negros has the softest sand under your toes. Proud to be the First Filipina Solo Traveler there on the year 2017. :)
Wow Gretl! You absolutely have an uncanny ability to showcase the Philippines and its gems. You certainly found them and absolutely nailed it. After only five visits you certainly did it right and it the nail on the head with your top 10. You skills in story telling are unmatched with your relaxed and warm vibe would make anyone want to visit or stay in the Philippines. Its clear you put a lot of thought and effort into your travels. Even more so, your drone cinematography is on point as well. Excellent video. I have personally been to 8 of the 10 locations you have been to and I agree those should be on the list. I recommend going to Catandayagan Falls in Ticao Island, Masbate. It is one of the only 25 waterfalls in the world that flow directly to the ocean. It is not advisable to go there in the summer because there isn’t much water flowing down the waterfall, plus there are shark sightings because, again, it’s the ocean. Going there around December or during the wet season is more preferable. I also recommend Burubancaso Rock Formation which is only a few minutes boat ride from Catandayagan Falls. I also recommend Halea Nature Park in Ticao Island, Masbate. When we went to Catandayagan and Burubancaso, we were the only ones there! Masbate isn’t really a touristy spot. It’s a hidden treasure! And do note that Masbateños like to stare, especially because not a lot of foreigners go to Masbate. :)))
We live near Dumaguete, just across from Siquijor! I was happy to see you put Siquijor on your list! Our friends told us we need to visit the same hotel you stayed in on Sugar Beach. Batanes is quite unique cos of its houses made of stone but recently a few houses crumbled due to an earthquake last July. I hope everyone that visits this amazing place and loves it so much gives something back to help it get back on its feet. wonderful choices for top 10 for a guide away from the crowds. mabuhay ka!

I Recommend BALABAC The Last Frontier of PALAWAN "The Maldives Of the Philippines" ONOK island in BALABAC" and The "BORA BORA of the Philippines "TAYTAY island in Palawan"! And Also Mansalangan Sandbar in BALABAC.
It is very sad and ignoramus of Filipinos to keep calling some of their islands as The Maldives of the Philippines. So many other places in the Philippines claims to be the Maldives of this country. How sad. You make the Philippines sound cheap and Philipinos ignorant. MALDIVES is a nation state and an archipelago studded with 7 star resorts. Maldives has a CULTURE and it is a country known to the elite of the world. Balabac is not even known in Palawan. I have been everywhere in Palawan. But Balabac is so over priced. Because some vloggers were paid to promote the myth. Brooke's Point is more interesting. Quezon is more interesting, and CUYO island is so much better.
No no no. Stop calling it as maldives or bora bora of philippines. Because for me, its much better. The only thing i like in Maldives and Bora Bora is their resorts but the islands there are so many of it in SEA countries.
@@aponiviblair6638 name one island in the Philippines has the same color of the sea as Boracay? The closest must be Panglao, but that island is more about RESORTS than Boracay is. Because would still be pretty even if it has none of those luxury hotels, that are better off, plucked out like weeds to a garden.
they should stop calling Balabac the Maldives of the Philippines, because actually makes the islands sound CHEAP. Also be informed other provinces in the Philippines used that tittle to promote some tourist attraction. And Taytay is not an island. I visited Taytay and Rio Tuba, but I didn't get to Balabac, I heard there are too many Entrance fees.
You are basically saying that Maldives is so awesome that the Philippines has to compare some islands to Maldives. Stop it. The Philippines has better islands than Maldives.
