The rain analogy was so good. I could actually picture the characters development. WHAT. I just found some writing help I didn't know I needed. Thanks Jesse
Love your videos. Pros and cons are such a simple way to sum up. I feel like your notes on books would make good lessons to watch when writing one, what to do, what not to do.
I'm so glad your channel is here. I've been going in and out of a reading dry spell where nothing interests me and always love finding suggestions :P I've really gotten into the Shadow and Bone Greishaverse series though omg.
Pleaseeee read The Traveling Cat Chronicles if you haven’t yet it’s honestly SUCH an amazing book, I picked it up at a bookstore a few months ago purely because I liked the cover and kind of skimmed over the storyline but this book blew me away and seriously has a special place in my heart (which doesn’t happen often let me tell you that)♥️
I love this pros and cons format you have going on lately (or at least I've only really noticed it a lot more prominently lately). Not every book is for everyone and by giving the pros and cons I feel you are giving us a really nice well rounded review.
OMG! I just finished reading Becoming today!!! Coincidence much. This book was truly inspirational. And I can truly see your ‘Becoming’ statement...like how her childhood shaped her. I gave it a 5 star.
💕 that outfit! I’m looking forward to picking up a couple of these. The book I finished recently was A Curse So Dark and Lonely. I’m a sucker when it comes to beauty and the beast retellings but I did really enjoy it!
This might sound strange, but thanks to this video I can now sum up my book in one sentence: *I'm not like other labyrinths* My life has now been made miles easier. And I'm not trying to promote my (unwritten) work because I'll will tell you now, _it is a cringefest_
I've read To Best the Boys when you mentioned it in your past videos for some light reading...i wanted something to read that'd get me out of a bookslump, so it's a good thing you recommended it. Thank you. 😊
I recently read ‘Two can keep a secret’ by Karen McManus! I loved you, kat, and Christine’s booksplosion chat!! Next on my list is Harry Potter and I’m so excited to start it!!!
I recently reread the beginning of a series I really enjoy, it is Homeland, Exile, and Sojourn by RA Salvatore. I love your videos and can't wait to read the books you (not so) recently read! 😁
@@klarab5965 I know like wtf?! I swear I want a wedding put in Rebel. If one could be fit in Mockingjay during a civil war, I think you can fit it in Rebel
Probably my favorite book I've read recently is The Sun is Also a Star. That book had me feeling all the feels. I cried, I laughed, I said "awww" a lot. Just a great book.
I didn't finish a book this month mainly because I'm fasting and there's no time for leisure reading. Last month, though, I finished 5 books! They are GHOST STORY by Peter Straub, 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami, THE WRONG NUMBER by R.L. Stine, PIECES OF HER by Karin Slaughter and lastly, AFTER DARK by Haruki Murakami. Cheers.
jesse, have you read "The Art of Falling" by Kathryn Craft? i've just finished it and i love the elegance of her writing and the plot is also very interesting. 10/10 would recommend!
Since White Rose is about Sophie Scholl I still wanna try it. - is there a chance for a video about all the books about WWII ? Thx for the video. I love your sound effects ^^
I'm just waiting for you to read the dark tower books. They are by far the best fantasy/epic Series ever. It is a little bit sci-fi. They are really good and you will not regret reading them
I've read 'the humans' by Matt Haig recently and was really amazed by it. I gave it a 4 from 5 stars, because even though it wasn't flashing and make me cry at 2 am because I read it in one session (looking at you the whicked king) it made me feel kind of warm and I appreciated being a human with all it flaws.
I really want to read The Night Tiger! The last book I loved was Love From A to Z by S. K. Ali, it was just so cute but also had a lot of important topics, just a great book! 😊
I can't wait to read To Best The Boys after hearing you talk about it, got me so hyped! Also LIVING for that shirt and jacket combo it looks so good! Side note the day you do a review for Kings Cage is the day I die, do you plan on reading it soon-ish? :D
Nice and variated reads! Read none of them though. Last read (which I just finished) was "The Gargoyle" by Andrew Davidson - quite a descriptive and rough start - not for the faint hearted, but an amazing character development. To think that it was his first novel is just so very impressive.. And excellent read! Now I am on "Bellman & Black" by Diane Setterfield, not so impressed thus far though I loved "The Thirteenth Tale"
I was hesitant about '' to best the boys '' but you just convinced me. I recently read love from A to Z'' and loved it. I wish it was talked about more,
I read Restore Me earlier this year and I loved it. The beginning was kinda boring but went into the book knowing there was going to be more books, so I expected the book to give me some idea of what to come in the future.
4 of those are actually already on my TBR xD The books I did actually read this month were: Finale (S. Garber), The Clockmakers Daughter (K. Morton), Enchantée (G. Trelease) and rn I'm reading Children of Blood and Bone (T. Adeyemi) (+ two books in german that I don't know the english titles of rn) I can recommend every single one of them tbh; they were all awesome!!!
I’ve asked if you can make a video about Fanfiction and what you can make about them, but I’m not sure if I you’ve seen my comment, so I’m asking again. Like just a video about what you think of fanfiction if you’ve read or written some. Though if not then all’s cool
