Ooh I always get SO much satisfaction out of watching bookshelf organisation videos. Really inspires me to organise my own but then I realise I only have like 50 books but all these book tubers are over here with like 600+ and I'm like _i want them ALL_
Katie Peacock I know right I’ve got 175 books or so and about 7 months ago I only had 100, just a tip, it always makes me feel more organized if I have read all of my books before I buy more. I’m trying to read all of mine and I have plenty for now but being on a book buying ban is so hard!!!
I am finally reading the Harry Potter books (I know, I should've read them earlier), finished The Philosopher's Stone in less than a week, and started reading The Chamber of Secrets. Love them both and I think I might be able to read the entire series before 2020 slaps us in the face! Also, I picked up the first two Lord of the Rings books for €4,-. Haven't read them yet, though.
Are you going to read The Hobbit before the Lord of the Ring trilogy? I highly recommend it. I've read it like 6 times since I've owned it a few years myself.
Maureeeeen 💕 I went to Christine’s last tour stop!! So. Many. People. It was so nice seeing her again!! I’m HOPING to see Booksplosion at Book Con for the third time this year 💙
The best friend support for Christine in this video is amazing! :') I read ABB recently and honestly Shane is one of the few characters I really SEE myself in. She's so relatable and I love it! ❤
I agree, this book has a very happy vibe/tone throughout. Its very easy to read - I think all the fandom references also just naturally make you happier as you come across them like Dr who and HP - its just like "yes! you know my friends! - youre speaking to my happy place" It was also interesting to see the polar opposite perspectives on fandoms - one from an actress getting a hard time from them, and one from someone who sees it as something really good and positive in the world, defending it. Its kind of part fantasy because - I get it - because Starfield doesnt actually exist.. kind of like Daisy Jones.. Like a parallel universe, like ours in every other way. Good read, good vlog!
I've just finished reading And the Ocean was Our Sky by Patrick Ness, and it's really beautiful if terms of writing and art (it's illustrated). It's great to read during exams. :)
The best friend love and appreciation in this video is so nice and lovely to see. I'm so proud of Christine for finally publishing her book. It must be so emotional to see your book on store shelves.
I think it’s so cool your friends are authors and you get to go to events with them. I am finally reading Miss Peregrine’s and it’s helping me get out of this reading funk I’ve been in.
I’m super late for the train but I just started watching your videos Jesse and I truly am like astonished, they’re fantastic, you have such an amazing personality, you’re hilarious, you seem so kind, and I truly want to be your best friend
I loved Geekerella and I have the princess and the fangirl on my desk but I’m just in that block with no motivation to read but after my final this week I’ll get my stuff together and read this book knowing I will love it
I recently read Serendipity Market (which is super unknown) and I absolutely LOVED it. You know how there are books that just seem to have a little piece of yourself in them that you didn’t know was missing? It was one of those. And I got it from a blind date with a book at my local bookstore.
I only just read geekerella and I'm so sad I didn't read it sooner! It deffinetly took my stress about graduation and college off my shoulders for a minute. Absolutely loved it
Your videos are so awesome and creative! Love all the videos you are posting lately. Keep on posting...the more the better. Great banana shirt. I just finished reading The Silent Patient. It was a fantastic thriller and the ending was so surprising. It is my favorite book of the year so far. I definitely want to read Geekerella and The Princess and the FanGirl. I have so many books and audiobooks to read and listen to. I have thousands of my own but then I also have several on hold at the library. I just started watching BookTube this year so I have lots of your videos that I am going to go back and watch. Definitely looking forward to new ones from you too.
10:25 are you going to do a review for Endgame?? I would love to hear you opinion on it. I needed to see it twice so i could understand the movie properly. I sobbed so hard at the end of the battle and I am pretty sure you know where :))
Wait so I've literally been in the worst reading slump in my life BUT I started reading Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater, and let me tell you I'm in SERIOUS love with these characters
I loved the princess and the fangirl!!! I can’t wait for your live show with booksplosion this weekend!!! I can’t finally participate since I’ve actually read the book already And I totally agree with you! I want Ashley Poston to give us more books in that world!
You are doing a great job with your videos and I love your energy in them. I saw at target the Four Dead Queens and I know you have been talking about wanting to get into the murder mystery genre and that is the perfect book to do so. I have already read it and it was sooo good, it easily jumped to one of my favorite books of all time.
i was in b&n last night and i saw these book and they looked so good but i wasnt sure if i was going to like them but after watching this video, imma buy them asap,,, thanks jesse......
I just bought Geekerella as a birthday gift for myself and i'm excited to read it. Hopefully it will be everything i've been dreaming of and more taking note from your review.
Geekerella and The Princess and the Fangirl both sound so good! I'm adding them to my list of books to buy for sure :D Right now I'm reading the Winternight Trilogy and absolutely loving it! Perfect winter read (which it is in Australia so good timing for me)
This is literally the earliest I've ever been😂 Also, how the heck did you avoid Endgame spoilers? I don't even have social media and I can't avoid freaking spoilers.
One person I know said they hadnt seen it and someone in their class hacked the computers in the class so in the middle of whatever they were doing the screen flased the words *not gonna say them because its a major spoiler* everyone was so mad at them because it was like the day after it came out
@@marissaflower2773 lol yeah. I first found out about it when I walked into school the Monday it came out and someone yelled in the middle of the hall a major spoiler. The problem with big movies lol
I've been slowly making my way through the Elric saga by Michael Moorcock, which is itself part of the Eternal Champion series. It was one of the first fantasy series ever written and each of the series is set in a different parallel world but the mc is always the same person inside, just a different incarnation. The multiverse is absolutely fascinating and so complex, it is a treat! *gush over*
A book I loved that I've recently was the Raven Boys (thanks Jesse!). Well, technically I haven't finished it yet, but I'm close AND I LOVE THIS!!!!!! Thank you Jesse for loving this book, because that's the main reason why I picked it up. 😁
We have to read Stasiland by Anna Funder for school and it was really good, it's non-fiction about the Berlin Wall but I really enjoyed it and would recommend it.
I just finished reading Queen Of Shadows yesterday and loved it! When I finished Heir Of Fire I have been crazy about getting the sequel so I ended up reading Queen Of Shadows online hhhh. I might as well read Empire Of Storms online since I dont think my parents will bother getting me to the bookstore. :))
The book I just finished and I loved was Red White and Royal Blue and I swear I was paralyzed after I was done because the writing and story and the characters were amazing
I haven't read either of those 2 books but a book I've loved recently is The Truth About Keeping Secrets 🤗🤗 I loved it so much I listened to it TWICE in a month. It's a YA queer (f/f) contemporary thriller and like, what more could you want 😚
Loved Geekerella, but you like need to read Somewhwere Only We Know by Maureen Goo! Its Kdrama romcom book about Kpop in book form!! I adored it and it's a great summer read!
Have you read stranger than fanfiction by Chris Colfer? It’s amazing, and has a similar plot to the princess and the fangirl. I totally recommend it if you haven’t read it!
I haven't read Geekerella *yet*, i'll manage to get there someday. But I recently read A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab, and... I loved it!!! I'm currently on the second book. I just loved the characters and the plot of the story aaaa
“that’s my best friend’s book!” oh gosh the support has me emotional :’)
"My buddy ol pal Jesus released a new version of the bible" I laughed entirely too hard at this! 😂😂
*"I usually dont venture out into the open-"*
Same, Jessie, same.

Katie Peacock trust me having 500+ books is fun but then you get overwhelmed sometimes when you can’t figure out which one you want to read next

"Reading the happiest book".
The happiest book? That's a thing?
Yeah.....
I saw Endgame yesterday and I feel you so much. I was feeling so many emotions yesterday.
Why did you watch it so late?!
PratikAte doesn't matter when you watch it, as long as you did
I love seeing how supportive you are and like overall genuinely excited for Christine ♡ You're a great friend, Jesse
you’ve been really blessing us with so many videos, thank you so much for that ☺️
Been trying my hardest. Thanks for watching.
It's ironic, I was in the middle of watching another one of your videos
Same
that happened to me a few days ago lol :)
i've been binging all of Jesse's videos because they're so amazing

ItsAPandaGirl :P You are gonna love lord of the rings i also just started reading harry potter im at book 4
lord of the rings is awesome but some people dont like the writing style its really descriptive but i really loved it and i hope you do too
Are you going to read The Hobbit before the Lord of the Ring trilogy? I highly recommend it. I've read it like 6 times since I've owned it a few years myself.
Saiyuri Inuzuka its not neccesary to read the hobbit to understand lord of the rings
