Starting with the drum beat percussive effect was brilliant!
Great video Eddie . You’re the best. 👍
You guys for mastery are pretty much the only ads I watch and I always watch your new videos. I find your teaching style very clear and concise. You don't waste time with fluff and all the lessons have great advice.👍
Try GMM online lessons. you won't find better. I can vouch for that.
How do I buy the book ?
Rhythm is the key! theres not enough rhythm lessons out there so this is great, thank you Eddie
signal music studio has a whole pay-whatever rhythm course. 50something lessons. Highly recommend.
Great lesson Eddy as you say the rhythm guitar is very important in any band. Digby
Happy to see you take this on. I have come across many guitarists that just don’t seem to keep a rhythm but also misunderstand why others can’t play with them. Or don’t focus on improving this piece of their playing along with their chording 👍
Good stuff, Eddie. Thanks!
Outstanding lesson
!!!
Keep them coming. Clear, clean and concise!
Ooof yeah. I love it when you throw some chord change in or dig something and you make that cool happy sound. Thanks Eddie !!
Your videos always inspire me to take chances, and work on my creativity in guitar. Great work Eddie.
Always learn from your videos, even though I am a beginner. Please keep those coming!!!
It doesn't get any better than this. Thanks, Eddie
This is too cool ! A friend sent me a video of an old hit & miss motor that had a neat rhythm to it and said , " nice beat just need a guitar playing to it " So yep , guess what I'm doing ....the very thing you're talking about with a unique rhythm source !! 👍
Thank you Eddie, this was a great lesson, I have had a huge issue with timing and I believe your lesson will level me up! Thank you!
Great lesson!!! Everyone wants you to play them a song! Much better if you can just make up your own and even get them to collaborate.
Exactly. Thanks for this video.
Love the rhythm stuff love to see more
Great examples of how rhythm changes the feel/vibe of the same set of chords
Excellent lesson. Thanks.
Rhythm 🎸 strum the chords that lay down the melody of a song, keeping time alongside the steady beat of the 🥁 and bass .
I’ve been practicing for a year…learning chords and notes….today I learned about rhythm guitar! What an idiot I am. I can play the guitar!!!
Damping the a string while playing a g major distorted sounds better I think. Nice vid.
Great very well made vids (I'm a lifetime guitar teacher, but I'm just getting my TH-cam channel started and making vids is not easy!). Cheers from Canada!
Great lesson Eddie!
Great video,thanks man
Great lesson 👍
James and Malcolm are the best of all time IMHO
Love this lesson, I love to play rhythm guitar and throw in some riffs that lead to the chord change. From there, I can flow into a lead run before slipping back into rhythm.
I'll bet you never
play in ,key of "F
Don't lie
Glad somebody explains this. I've always told people I am a guitar drummer...they just look at me funny.
Guitar is a percussive instrument in nature.
Sounds like the beginning to Wooden Ships by CSN . 👍🙋♂️🖖🏻
11:56 reminded me of limo wreck by soundgarden
My Dad was a great rhythm player and singer, and later learned bass.
Your "mute slash rhythm" reminds me of Voodoo child intro or wooden ships intro
Yeah, my first thought when I heard that muted strumming was the intro to Wooden Ships!
That guitar makes my GASflare up. Sell it to me Edward😂
Hey Eddie what brand is that Tele
It's a custom tele built by Ian Anderson of IA Guitars
I like your guitar . who is it made by.
Thanks! It's a build by Ian Anderson of IA Guitars
What about writing the rhythm out with accents and D U
i play rhythm guitar but I don't use a pick. i can't switch back and forth between plucking and strumming, and open my hand slap the guitar for percussion sounds if I hold a pick. i go from strumming to grabbing 2 or 3 strings at the same time, pluck then strum, back forth throughout the songs. can make alot more sounds this way.
What key has Bm A and G
D?
Yeah, b minor the relative minor of D
@guitarmasterymethod Thanks again!
