Thanks for another great exercise on the guitar. Things like this are really good for me. I'm a slow learner and in my 60s. So taking time to show me one note at a time seems to be all I can follow. So thank you again.

Hands down you are the best instructor on TH-cam.
Im 53, have played with many major artists.
But I dig that we seem to share the same approach; one should never stop learning. I’ve added many of your lessons to my bag of tricks!
Bless brother and keep up the good fight!

I am a student guitar player almost 72, using TH-cam videos to assist me in learning and have bought almost a dozen courses here and there. However, this video opened my eyes as I am EVOLVING and learning more with practice(it's all about the practice time that will measure you on your success don't let anyone tell you different). I believe I will give Guitar Mastery Method a second look and see what he has to offer and may purchase it. THANK YOU EDDIE !!!

I imagine a whole lot of rock songs have been created from playing variations of that riff! (Reminds me of Cheap Trick 🎸) As simple as it is, it sounds so cool and can be a great springboard for beginners looking for something they can learn pretty quickly 👍🏻👍🏻

I love this. It reminds me of so many songs I like but maybe I've never noticed the commonality they use of droning notes. I had to go and listen to Be Mine straight after. Also some later Pearl Jam or Vedder solo stuff, I'm not sure, or even smashing pumpkins. All of it is awesome and I'd never tied it together in my mind with the use of this sort of technique, thank you.

All the young 60+ guys it's as easy it gets and so great to play/listen. I'm a decade over the 60's. As well as following Eddie's tab you can make your own sound using the drone string and fretting along the neck.

Dude, that's awesome!!! Really nice sound. I've always had a rule about avoiding open strings when possible, because I started as a bass player (8 years old). When I picked up the guitar a year later, I used to LOVE doing stuff like this, but later in life, NEVER added anything like this to my repertoire. Thanks so much for bringing it back to me!!! :)

How can I replicate the "tone" I'm hearing in this riff? I'm using a LesPaul - Tribune and a Boss MK11 amp. Is there a tone download or suggested settings for the Boss amp that would sound similar? Thanks
