- So... Yeah... Almost Died had I not been my own advocate and decided to go back to the hospital for the 3rd time. I never knew how dangerous UTIs could be once they hit your kidneys. I remember seeing my blood counts and having a mini panic attack about how bad things were. Given my symptoms, it was clear just how dangerous things were and how if allowed to fester any longer could have caused permanent damage. Had I listened to these doctors, who knows what could have happened. I'm so thankful I am my own advocate and that I am no longer afraid to call out doctors for being wrong. And, again, I was right. It's hard to trust doctors when systematically try to blame you for true medical issues. I wish I could say this was the first time, but those of you who know me know my arduous journey with doctors throughout my Chiari, Ehlers Danlos, and Cranial Cervical Instability journey. But all this has done is ignited a fire inside of me to fight, to listen to my body, and to not give up. I hope it does the same for you all. Doctors are NOT always right.

I've had "chronic tension headaches", according to doctors, for 13 years straight now. Everyday I wake up with it and it gradually gets worse until bed. I don't remember what it's like to not have a headache. 🤔 Where did these doctors get their degrees? Cracker Jack box M.D. edition? 🤣 Keep the faith, keep advocating for yourself, and may God keep you healthy and safe!! 🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕💕💕
I am sorry you understand this shitty pain. These doctors havr never really cared about the patient, they don't want to solve anything, they want easy answers so it's easy treatment plan and they don't have to lift a finger to do actual work. I am disgusted by what I've experienced, but luckily there are some great doctors who listen. There are some, but not enough. And craziest thing is we are actively in a shortage of doctors! So we have less options. Grrr it really grinds my gears. I hope you find your answer

It's common for doctors to become jaded after so many years, to the point that they can accept the possibility of indirectly killing people. When you save thousands, you gotta accept that you probably killed dozens. Even so, not being able to treat each case as unique proves they let the burden get to them. We not only need more doctors, we need doctors with character.
