He proposed KNOWING I was nonbinary. And our happiness only grows and grows every day. I hope you find someone who makes you feel as loved and accepted as he makes me, then you won't have to hide behind ignorance.

My comment was made toward the males watching, in general: You may serve as something of a "cautionary tale" for them. See, being as forward as you (allege to) have been with your fiance is not how all women are; There are women (and I'd wager the overwhelming majority, actually) who would intentionally keep such feelings a secret, then springing them on the man when he was locked into the relationship. You may - by some _astounding_ coincidence - be the possibly singular exception, but that doesn't prove the rule. I disagree with the whole "nonbinary" concept, in its entirety, but I do still hope you both truly love each other -- I'm not against that. I also appreciate your hope that I "find someone who makes [me] feels as loved and accepted as he makes [you]." It's a kind thing to say, especially in this comment section full of people seemingly attacking you. I doubt that's most commenters' intent here; I think most people just believe that they would feel "betrayed" in this situation, not fully understanding the dynamic you and your fiance have privately. It may be ignorance; it's certainly bias... but not everyone who disagrees with you - including myself - is against _you specifically._ I loathe of the possibility of this ever happening with a woman I proposed to, so it's difficult for me to accept it, even for others. That doesn't affect your love for one another, however, and I'm allowed my opinion, and the expression of that opinion. If you read back my original comment, while _referring to you,_ it wasn't _directed at you._ You couldn't possibly understand the process a man goes through trying to find the "right woman", anyway. It would be like ME trying to tell YOU what it's like being "nonbinary". Again, and most importantly, if you two are happy with each other, then I'm happy for you. As an aside -- even though we're, like, "internet enemies", now: You have fantastic grammar, punctuation, and diction. Most would fail to even recognize that, but not I. Good on you. 😄

Professionally diagnosed after 3 hours of in person testing and confirmed by a secondary neuropsychologist who went over the test results 😳

@@autumnskylardoeseverything What is? 3 hours of testing? Diagnosing autism isn't done solely based on a questionnaire.

@oop4841 no it's done by a neuropsychologist who administers a series of tests over a 3 to 4 hour period per the request of a physician that suspects autism. My therapist suspected autism thus I went for testing. Look it up. Google is free man

I trust in myself and my ability to fight back, my own resilience. And I trust in the universe. ^_^

Sadly no :( I'm having to go on disability and most disqualify once married due to joint income, even though we can barely live off of his alone. And I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome as well as a myriad of comorbidities, including: chiari, cranial cervical instability, GI dysmotility, suspected autoinflammatory, etc. Etc. In layman's terms: I'm sick 😫 But my fiance is my tru love, he's by my side stronger and stronger every single day. As soon as I can work on my own, which I do pray to be able to do one day, the first thing we will do is tie the knot 🪢

Not yet. We will have to have a long engagement thus to marriage making it harder to qualify for disability from the state. But one day I pray to get better enough to make a life without supplemental income and we can marry 🙏
