When I clicked this I expected a 5 second video of "If no Neo Tempest Terahertz, Evenly Matched. Otherwise bait the Terahertz then activate Evenly Matched". As someone playing the deck, I cannot overstate enough how deadly Evenly is. You can bounce back from a feather duster or storm with HQ, but Evenly just deletes most of your resource loop and kills your grind game. Good video.
You can sacrifice your traps to save your grind game, I suppose this is why they side Reinforce for games 2 and 3 as you need it to keep your resource loop in tact after an evenly.
@@johnnywilson3071 I main Reinforce. Is it sometimes bricky? Sure. But people are maining Evenly at a frequency I'd rather have it and not need it than lose to not having it. The GY effect is almost always relevant too, especially with a Hydrant on field, letting you toolbox out of GY on your opponent's turn after having spent the initial copies of that spell on your turn.
Funny thing is I was playing rescue ace this weekend at locals and I knew nothing about, the guy kind of was rushing his combos but I get it but he doid the set 4 and i was flipping out because I definitely would have hit it with Baronne, but i let it go through because im not a complainer, needless to say, chaos angel says no!
Great Squid-eo, Squiddy! :) Ive only played against thjs deck once. Do you think Skill drain would hurt this deck? I think theres only two monsters that can dodge skill from the looks of things.
@@Squiddys I also personally don't go for the Terahertz line because of how varied the Extra Deck can be for this deck. This deck can abuse the hell out of Underworld Goddess and with the right handtraps, the line to Terahertz is EXTREMELY interruptible, everything that hurts the main combos hurts that line twice as hard. I recently won locals with the deck and mentally figured out how to play around some of the main weaknesses of the deck, like using Prosperity as Ash bait rather than to dig, Super Poly for things like Mudragon and Starving Venom. It's a super fun deck that can be played in many different, yet viable, ways. People have even experimented with XYZ and Synchro builds of the deck to do some crazy shenanigans.
@@Squiddys Yeah, one thing that can definitely help the deck though is stuff like Book of Moon and Super Poly, I've been using a Super Poly package since something we have in the TCG that's not in the OCG yet is Garura and Book of Moon is both an offensive and defensive tool to play around things like Imperm or turning off monster floodgates like Arisehart

Thanks for the tipps ;) I would use Veiler etc. at Turbulance right on Summon, so its already negated before it activates its eff ;)
