Got first at my locals yesterday after a nail biting branded mirror in the final. I was on chimera, opponent was on a more branded Despia. I was losing in game 3, but won by making lubellion and fusing 5 monsters into Chimera the illusion beast and swinging for game. Deck is crazy for such a small engine, can’t wait for the new fusion!
As someone who's playing Synchro Bystial Branded, you would not believe how many free wins I've gotten from people inexplicably not Ashing my BraFus out of fear of this deck.
The only play i really dont recomend is the first 1 that you try to bait out the chimera fusion with bluff evenly matched the rest is very helpfull, but since in the draw phase they are getting the second chimera fusion and have the negates in graveyard i never actually seen anyone not letting it through cause if u evenly matched they already have follow up in hand anyways and negates and if u dont they have the full power then, there is just not much to lose to them cause one the biggest strenghts is the follow up they always have, and if they dont have the follow up (wich they always do cause the searches of turn give is follow up so yeah) that means they have the hand traps. AND BTW I FULLY AGREE WITH THE PATCHWORK PACKAGE BEING GARBAGE IN THIS DECK, its not garbage but i took it out cause i wasnt getting that much value out of them or any at all in almost all duels so i took it out for more hand traps and it is absolutely better.
Yo Coach! Quick question: as a Chimera player would you not worry about Nib? I typically try to play around it but you make a good point in the fact that I can still get Chimera fusion back and just Chimera on their turn.
Can you please further explain what would happen when I Imperm the Mirror Swordknight? I'm new to the game and I didn't really understand why it woudn't be a good idea.
Just curious. What name would called by the grave negate targeting chimera the king of phantom beasts? chimera the king or chimera the flying. And also.... would that cause an infinite loop constantly negating and un negating chimera the king on the field, Because its losing and regaining its effect of being treated as chimera the flying.
Talents really hurts. Because it doesn't target, even if you fusion to get rid of a monster on ur side they're still stealing a monster. Lost a few matches because of talents
This meta sucks, is impossible to prepare for everthing, is just to much decks out there. Book of eclipse seems nice againts this deck, especially if you can otk or have a arise on the field. Droll is kinda of decent i guess, is not perfect but wich handtrap is? You can Cornfilield or prosperity
