Thanks for posting! It’s ridiculous Bernie not part of the “Core” whatever. Posada instead of Bernie? Please.
hard to believe these clips are OVER 20 years old. the last of the great era in MLB.
The best player on the team during the first few years I started watching as a kid. For his career in the regular season he had 10 walk-offs in comparison Jeter had 9. If you want to throw in the postseason Bernie has 12 and Jeter 10(one of Jeter's is a WS walk off though). Clutch is more than just walk offs and I am not downplaying Jeter he is my favorite all time forever, I am comparing Bernie to his teammate who is one of the clutchest players in the game. That is only walk-offs that's not even go ahead hits late or at the top of innings for either of them. From 1996-2000 Bernie won 4 World Series, ALCS MVP, batting title, 4 Gold Gloves, 4x AS and during the regular seasons hit .324 and .338 with RISP etc etc. It's time he gets a little more recognition.
Agree
His post season achievements are astounding.
Bernie Williams was my favorite Yankee in that era
I’m a die hard Mets fan obsessed with the greatness of Joe Torre’s Yankees. Don’t ask why. There is nobody on the planet I’d want up in a big spot over Bernie Williams
Bernie was DA man!!!
What an amazingly unique clutch accomplishment to hit walk offs in game 1 of two different ALCS from different sides of the plate
Bern baby bern
Baseball used to be great…now it’s “ woke”…you lost me
You're right. What happened? Everything is going down the crapper. Sad.
