He was a better hitter than Schmidt who finished with MORE SO THAN HITS in 3 seasons & despite playing 20 years earlier still had a higher career F% than Schmidt. Needless to say, in this opinion still the greatest 3rd baseman of all-time. Santo & Baker are also still top 5 & the 2 best 2-way players.

Aramis Ramirez is one of the most underrated third basemen in baseball. His stats compare favorably to several of the players you have listed.
