Robert Howland as a Lifelong Yankees fan and I just don’t like the Red Sox organization because there just ignorant and won there 2 recent WS titles with the help of PED Papi and Manny just being Manny on PED’s..that’s cool right there, I a guitar player myself salute you.
And you should've rightly so hated hearing his name as I player. Even not a Yankees fan myself, I always loved him - he and Jorge. But I agree. He is an excellent musician and he's totally self taught since he retired. That's impressive!! I never really liked the Red Sox back in the early 2000's nor the Yankees but there were players I adored - Nomar (who I met when he played for Oakland in 2009! Dream come true!) Varitek, Pedro and only later I learned to love Papi so much so that when he was shot, my heart nearly broke. Thank the baseball gods he recovered. Such a good man. As an A's fan not one of them was help to me (esp. Ortiz who drove in the go ahead run in the top of the 9th for the TWINS in Game 5 of the 02 ALDS in Oakland - not many people remember that tbh, but I'll never forget!) Still it's interesting the ways and reasons you can come to appreciate players you didnt always appreciate when they were your nemesis and for numerous and often random reasons- no offense I'm sorry but I will like Aaron Boone forever bc of the 03 ALCS homer - dont hate me, I apologized for that one ahead of time! LOL!
Beautiful. As someone who's a Richmond Flying Squirrels (AA - Giants) season ticket holder and has lived though too many singers trying to own the song, this is proof that you can be a bit unique without denigrating the song.
Well said. I looked him up after the Cam Newton camp fight fiasco to remind myself there are still good people in sports. As a fellow guitar player, tell me that isn't a good looking ax!
If I was one of those kids I would have been savage and kneeled during the anthem just for the reaction it'd probably get and just to make people triggered.
Yankee Fan101 hahahahaha and I would have been funny to see someone step in and teach you a little respect and knock you out like your daddy should have.

As a Red Sox fan, I dreaded hearing his name during his playing days. Yet, as a guitarist myself, I can say that Bernie Williams has talent.

Hey, let’s see your guitar playing. But actually, this wasn’t his best showing. Search his “take me out to the ball game”… absolutely stunning.
@@ojuice54 the guy is an average guitar player. Sorry, he can do a gig but if it was anyone else with that level skill you'd never hear of them.
@@samsmith4216 I agree with you that THIS showing is fairly average/mediocre. But did you search the 7th inning stretch like I recommended?
