Which of My Cars Sounds the Best? Shmeemobile REV OFF!

- There's a lot of noise to be heard while we find out which of my cars sounds the best! There's a mix of 4, 6, 8 and 12 cylinders, some with new exhaust systems, some valve controls, and some stock; let's fire them all up with a host of cold starts and then some revs. Will it be the thunderous Aston Martin GT8, roaring SLS AMG Black Series, screaming Ferrari GTC4Lusso or something else from the garage, let's find out!
Never before have I tried to put this together; getting a sound check of all the Shmeemobiles together to directly compared them. Working in order of increasing engine capacity, let's take a listen to them all:
Ford Focus RS Heritage Edition - 2.3l turbo 4-cyl
Ford Focus RS Red Edition - 2.3l turbo 4-cyl with Xforce Varex exhaust
Toyota GR Supra - 3.0 turbo inline-6
Ford GT - 3.5l TT V6 with Akrapovic exhaust
McLaren 675LT Spider - 3.8l TT V8
McLaren Senna - 4.0l TT V8
AMG G63 - 4.0l TT V8 with Akrapovic exhaust
AMG GT R Pro - 4.0l TT V8
Aston Martin Vantage GT8 - 4.7l NA V8 with CC Charger switch
Mercedes SLS Black Series - 6.2l NA V8
Ferrari GTC4Lusso - 6.3l NA V12 with Novitec Switchtronic
Enjoyment and emotion from a car often comes from the sound that it makes, and through this list with have a large variety of engine types, layouts and sizes. Not only that but a number of them have titanium exhaust systems, and many of the cars run through loud cold start sequences which help bring the engines up to temperature.
It's a question and video that I've been asked for many times, so I'm looking forward to seeing your orders of preference and favourite sounds of the Shmeemobiles!

It's a difficult one. I find the GT8, too loud to be practical although it is very nice. The G63 is also very loud but from the inside, I imagine the stereo effect of the side exhausts may be, for many people, the winner. The Ferarri is just Special. It is for me, personally a little screamy but epic all the same. The Red Focus RS is just awesome sounding. Deep note with loads of cracks and pops. Like it! My list would be :
1) SLS AMG Black Series - Just the perfect mix of volume level, tone and overrun.
2) Focus RS Red Edition - Awesome, the cracks and pops are just crazy.
3) GTC 4 Lusso - It's a V12 Ferarri!
when are you going to add a NA V10 into your garage?

The Aston Martin sounds so amazing. So do the AMGs. And I also really like the unique sound of the Ford GT and the added turbo sounds.

1, AMG GTR Pro - the low tones are where you really get the feedback, if you can hear the low tones, you can hear the next tone!
2, Aston Martin GT8 - as I tend towards natural aspiration, noise complaints blocks away are cool too!
3, Ferrari GTC - for its screaming tone, fucking fierce!

A bit controversial second position in my list, but I love how it sounds: 1) Ferrari GTC4 Lusso ofcourse, best sounding engine of all time for me. 2) Mclaren 675LT: which has more scream rather than roar of the other V8s, and I love engine sounds which have a character change from low to high revs. 3) Aston Martin Vantage GT8: absolutely crazy sound, can't go wrong with that!

For me;
1. AM Vantage - Because I've always loved that car and the noise is just perfect.
2. SLS Black Series again just the raw sound of a V8 which you haven't had better from Mercedes since (in my opinion)
3. Supra - Because I'm a sucker for an Inline 6, they always just sounds perfect to me 😍 No better noise than that going through the gears in the British countryside.

Just a fan in general of bigger naturally aspirated engines and how they sound. I own a naturally aspirated V6 myself although it's very far from being in the performance- and price ranges of your cars.
you can really hear those turbos in the Ford GT. Beautiful sound
GT8, Lusso, Fort GT (I know a lot of people might not pick the 6 cylinder but I love the way it screams at high revs & that aftermarket exhaust is boss!). Tim, have u considered heading over to Evolve Automotive & having Imran make u some eventuri air intakes for your Turbo cars? They look amazing and actually help improve the airflow getting sucked into the turbos. Just something to think about buddy. Can't wait for the Rentech mods for your SLS & Pro. Love this channel!
