I loved this reveal because it also made sense the roles Sanji played in Strawhat adventures prior to this like in Alabasta or Enies Lobby!
This is one of One Pieces greatest PLOT TWISTS- Sanji being from a royal family from the North Blue. This was foreshadowed during the Skypeia saga, in just one scene.

So what I got from y'all is that Bege guy was effectively useful for capturing and storing sanji safely until they arrive to their destination, while pokem was there to keep an eye on Bege on behalf of Big Mom.

Why would you say pekoms choosing to let them go does not make sense? We could think in this perspective also - The strawhats just saved his whole home town, his mother and father and all. In that hightened emotional state he might have literally put his life on the line to choose not to take them back even though failure might not be an acceptable thing when they go back to big mom. He might have warned strawhats that even though they may escape now, more will come looking since big mom wants them. This might also be the reason why Bege was calling Pekoms crazy, how dare Pekoms make the choice for him as well (if they were both assigned the mission), especially thinking of what awaits them if they go empty handed.

Pudding Charlotte is the 35 daughter of Big Mom, she has next to her 34 sisters also brothers. Big Mom has more than 35 children. There is nothing with generations.
Sanji has also brothers or sisters, how many we don't know. But a clue is that he is supposed to be the third son. My guess is he has a 0 sister(s) (don't know if it is single or multiple when 0, english is not my first language)
